I went into this movie questioning why the fuck I'm going to see something starring Nicholas Cage and walked out pretty happy that I looked past that horrible decision. Decent movie.

Also check out 'Youth in Revolt' for some reason I always associate these films with eachother. Dunno why. Might have something to do with me always confusing Kick Ass with Superbad. WHAT

This is pretty much the impression I got from the previews (thought I didn't know the 12 year old had such a foul mouth). Everyone knows if a kid runs after criminals in a cape he's gonna get killed/captured/whatever so it isn't exactly realistic. I tend to expect a certain degree of intelligence in my movies (which is hard to find nowadays).

Really funny, really violent, even some sad parts too. Very good movie, I give it 7.5/10.

Come on, that was only once as I recall. Anyway, I watched the movie "Kick-Ass" and I liked it a lot. I thought there were some good ideas in it and the acting was pretty good. Most critics like it (well, Roger Ebert did hate it) and it has a very high score on the Internet Movie Database so for the most part, it is a geniunely good movie. Do not be so sensitive and just think of how cool it is.

well in terms of the modern movie industry, it's good. however in terms of movies in general its ok but it's worth watching without a doubt.

It was a silly, gory, and fun movie with a cute loli in it. I wouldn't call it anywhere on my list of "favorite films" but still, it was worth watching for what it was. No spoilers, but the ending seemed rather over the top. Wait... strike that... the whole bloody movie was quite over the top!

most people arguments about the movie are true, it's a pretty cool movie. But you should read the comic book, it's much better, more violent and it has more humor and a better character development.

My friends that are all into comic books said that it was good. They even bought the book thing, i am not really into that kind of movie. But from what they said, it was pretty good.
