Funnily enough that happens more often then it probably should. Not so much twins, but just normal brother and sisters, maybe half-siblings who got seperated for years and then when they finally meet as adults they confuse feelings. I think there is some kind of explanation as to why it happens and why generally when adult siblings meet they feel like they have found 'the one'.

There are plenty of situations that lead to incest - the long lost family members, the inseparable twins, or even the Oedipus syndrome. However, while I do have to say that I'm against it, both morally and conceptually, I wouldn't stand inbetween two people in a relationship, if only to avoid my eventual decapitation.

I don't think there's anything right about it to be honest, but in the situation that you suggested its not like they can help it... I'd say that's one of the more acceptable situations, they weren't to know. You can't help who you fall for I guess. However, if they had known before hand, I'd find that really quite wrong... Doesnt this happen alot? Not just with brothers and sisters, also with adopted children falling for their real parents or grandparents. I think its quite tragic for someone to fall in love and then have the sickening discovery that theyre related.

I guess you just have to hope that never happens. Sooner or later, you would find out that you have the same birthdate, so that might be a good way of telling. In fact, I actually knew a girl this one time who was born on the same day that I was, but we never got together or anything. Of course, if you do not know your birthdate, then you're dead.
