I never liked All That for some reason.
I was always for the Amanda Show.

Sorry for double post, but What was that Surfing Show?
I used to watch it every day when I woke up.

People like to remember only the good shows. There was as much shit on TV back then as there is now. Actually there are a lot of really great cartoons that have been made in the past few years.
The on thing I really miss though is Liquid Television but that was MTV and most of you might not remember that.

I didn't even know of MTV then.

Y'know what, I used to be part of the "my generation's cartoons were so much better" bandwagon, but if you look with an open mind I think you'll find that kids today are getting a lot of good stuff. I'm not even talking about the classic half-hearted apologist response of "well, it's just that these shows don't appeal to us because we're not kids anymore." Some of these shows are just actually good. If Avatar: The Last Airbender was made in the late '90s, I'd have been all over that shit.
And the other kids' networks have some good stuff going for them too (I've recently discovered Adventure Time). And if you want to spread out from TV, hell, we're pretty much going through a family film renaissance.
I'm almost jealous of today's kids. Almost. Hey Arnold! still trounces any show on Nickelodeon today, and nothing like Invader Zim will ever, ever, ever be allowed on television again.

While I wasn't too happy about it myself, it's for the better that the original shows were canceled. Had they continued to air to this day they most likely would have went downhill to the point of it being absolutely horrible.
