Congrats to the winners! Madness day was unbelievably awesome! I think you made good choices when picking the winners, and if I had to choose them the outcome wouldn't have been very different.

The only thing I kinda disagree with is the amount of money awarded to the music/lit/art winners, but I guess it makes sense that the movies/games winners get that much money since they are the ones who bring most of the traffic to the site.

Why shouldn't the other forms of art be given recognition and reward for their work? Most of those people have been making things longer than half of the people on this site and it is a whole different process of making between flash and music or the others. Honestly, would any of the flashes been as good if they all just used the same song, or a copywritten song just because they know people out their will vote high because they already know the song. Just because it takes a less amount of time to work on a song doesn't mean there is a lack for effort.

The amount of money given was up to the site owners, and was an incentive to bring in the best songs possible so that the flashes could get even better new songs. Besides that 100 is only 10% of what the winner of the flashes made. It seems completely fair to me.

Hulalaoo deserved more, and some of those games didn't deserve anything. OVERALL, GOOD MADNESS DAY.

Holy crap that's a lot of winners. It only makes me feel guilty though, as I wish I could have put in more effort then what I actually did for Madness Day...

Good to see winners were finally selected. Competition was great! I'm looking forward for the next Madness Day contest as well as the Calendar Contest.

Perhaps for the next contest it would be good to have a list of criteria that our art will be judged on. I am curious to know why certain work was selected over others and based on what factors :P

By the looks the art submissions titled "Mad" by b0em and "Chainsaw Madness" by jouste display greater talent than "Madness" by homojesus and "Frozen Tricky" by FortressRubbish.
