How old is your computer?

Hey guys, I am kinda curious about how old the avg computer is. Because I have heard that people get a new computer after 2 years and throw the old one away, while the old computer works fine still.
I mean, this laptop i am currently on is 5 years old and it still works like it did when i got it: Just fine.
I also have a 2 yr old PC and it works good too.

So, I wonder:
How old is (are) your computer(s)?

This one is about 9 months old. I doubt it will ever be thrown away as no comupter ever seems to be thrown away in this house.

my laptop is a little over 2 months old. The "family" computer which only my mum and brother use is 1-2 months old. So yeah not too old. I'll probly keep my laptop for a while, even after i get a new one.

I've had the same computer for years but I just update it all the time. It has none of it's original parts anymore.

I think this here laptops nearing the two year mark. But it's started acting pretty funky so I'm planning on gettng a new one.

If a new motherboard constitutes a new computer, my desktop is about a month old. However, my computer is reusing some parts that are around 10 years old (hard drives, a CD drive, heck even the case).

I have owned my laptop for a few months, but it was made in 2002.

My laptop is 6 months old. My main computer is 4 years old.

I had to get a new one as the laptop I was using I gave back to my brother out of the kindness of my heart.

In 2002 I had everything from a 1.5GHz Pentium 4 to an XT.

Now the oldest thing I have is a Pentium 166, I think.

I do have some old 80x86 CPUs lying around.

My best PC is a 3.0GHz Core 2 Duo E8400 with 4GB RAM and Radeon HD 4850 Graphics.

Got it for Christmas 2009. All the USBs are broken, one of the square bracket keys sticks, the speakers tend to go weird, and the charger doesn't stay in.

My current laptop is only about a year old and I can't see myself buying anything new for a good while yet, unless I decide to build a desktop but with my current financial standing that seems unlikely.
