But North Korea hasn't been Leninist since the Sino-Soviet split of the 70's. North Korea follows a Juche policy. That's Stalinist at best, and is definately nowhere near Leninism.

North Korea's "system" resembles a horrible mashup of different political and socioeconomic systems. The workers live in a horrible Stalinist/Communist society, under the total control of what is really nothing more than an imperialist ruling class (Kim Jong-Il and his clan).
The weird part about it all is that North Korean propaganda teaches its citizens that they as a race are privileged to live in such a state. When North Koreans hear that South Koreans are dating blacks and Europeans and so on, they are disgusted. The brainwashed North Korean attitude towards racial purity is akin to Nazism.
Lastly, North Korea's government is chosen through hereditary selection... which is the least democratic and least sensible way of electing a leader.
You wouldn't last a week in that place.
