A lot of those things are cool, but we all know jetpacks really exist. I don't think we have the technology for an actual lightsaber as seen in the films though.

Just so you know, almost all of the images/inventions are pretty buttered up for the article (save the jetpack).

Some of the stuff is really cool, and I'm not saying anything in the article shouldn't exist.... I'm just going to tell it how it is.

Q-teleporter doesnt actually teleport anything... it replicates it (and does a pretty poor job of it).

6th Sense is nothing new (just mocap) with a projector on your chest. Shit's been available on ps2 (eyetoy, etc.) and I'll be damned if I'm going to wear a projector around my neck everywhere I go.

3D Displays are indeed what they say they are.... but not the "holograms" we see in movies as they claim. Just an image projected on a rotating mirror. Cool, definitely... hologram... no.

Lightsaber is completely fake.

Jetpack 100% real.

Military Exoskeleton, 100% real.... but also 100% impractical. They fail to mention in the video the weight of the suit, and how difficult it is to put it on, and the reason there is a bungie cord attatched to his back (if a bullet or anything else cuts off power to any part of the suit, it goes limp like a noodle, leaving the wearer inside, a mangled pile of meat) I've seen the whole thing on television a long time ago.

Hover car is definitely real, but the pic of the car is not of an actual hovercar.

Flying saucer. When one is created, I'd say that is grounds for "existing." What do you think?

Diabetes contact lenses - Definitely interesting... but impractical. You could just have a tattoo or a patch of some kind of your arm. And btw, the image does not give you a cool green virtual interface over your eye.... it would look like this:
