Ohmygod, Little Debbie Star Crunch!

As crazy as this sounds, I am 26 years old and until about 10 minutes ago I had never had star crunch. I am in utter DISBELIEF that these little things have slipped past me for over 2 and a half decades, they are easily one of the most amazing little snack cakes I've ever eaten. I had to get into the car IMMEDIATELY and go down to the grocery store, where I just bought my first ever box of Star Crunches. I'm devouring my fourth one out of a box of 12 as I type this. JESUS, I think I'm already addicted to these things, they're EXQUISITE.

I realize that this will probably be flamed because it isn't particularly newsworthy and probably didn't warrant it's own topic, but fuck it... the little bastards are delicious and I really cant believe I've never tried one or even HEARD of one until today.

Please try them. I couldn't believe I'd never had one. I was in the gas station and I had a quarter in my pocket. I was a little hungry so I asked the attendant if there was a piece of candy or something along those lines that was only 25 cents. He says "You can get a star crunch for that, they're pretty filling for a quarter."

I opened that little fucker up and the second I made it through the door I grabbed money off the window sill and was right back out the door to the grocery store. I've now got a new favorite snack cake (so move over zebra cakes and strawberry and chocolate swiss rolls). I eat snack cakes a LOT since they're so tasty and easy to hold I always keep a box between me and the Mrs. when we're driving.

They are rice crispies stuck together using caramel and then coated in chocolate and they are quite tasty. Speaking of tasty... has anyone ever tried a strawberry Zebra Cake?
