Cootie that's how it should work when you think about it logically. But believe me it's nothing like that, my country was in the Soviet Union for over 50 years and it was nothing like that. People had a lot more honor back then, even though everyone got payed roughly the same amount of money you still couldn't do shit with it. You couldn't buy anything with it, only the necesities to survive (unless you were a member in the Party). People weren't lazy because working hard and making an honest living was the only life they ever lived. Actually, we were generally a lot more happier even though we didn't have many toys (and mayo, that shit was rare).

Still, compared to the western world we were living like rats.

Makakov that's exactly what I was talking about! People were a lot friendlier, and as you said they worked for respect and prestige. Now if you break the law you're usually concerned about the money, but back then people actually felt bad about it. Life was a lot easier.

But some people will never understand that we were happy even though countries in the soviet union didn't have capitalistic luxuries.

I still think that capitalism is a far better system. And, the USA landed on the moon first. Don't listen to all the conspiracy theorist because those guys tend to be complete loons. I think the Soviet Union collapsed because communism can't last imo.

Communism is awesome. I agree with the roots of communism.

People are not so awesome. People are greedy. People with power abuse power, or get overpowered as that power goes to the ones who overpower them. Therefore communism will not work.

In an ideal world. Honestly, I wish it would work, I prefer that view, but at the same time, there are flaws in it because of human nature, and I know for a fact that I wouldn't be suited towards a communist government because of my own nature.

Anyway, I only see a problem with the whole government aspect of communism. Socialism is okay, since it doesn't quite interfere with personal rights, but full on government control does not sit right with me.

He probably doesn't know just how effective it is when put into practice - especially in a capitalistic world, where everyone is looking out for #1. And there's nothing wrong with either system, it's jsut that people aren't too big a fan of following the rules. Communists aren't exactly a national security threat these days, there's no need to get too worried about it.

i just want to say that when i work at a job i wanna earn money for me and my family. Not for the state they tax people for money. Also everything that i buy with my money stays mine,so for the governemt to come in my home and place twenty people inside who basically messed up and couldn't work hard enough to fix themselve are just magical going to be helped by this great government.
