My family doesn't like me.

Weil heres the thing-

Im not making this thread, so i can tell of how NG should feel sooo sorry for me, just to ask a question. Have any of you had problems with your family? Your relationships with the other members of your family?

To start off i'd like to say, that my dad is 56. 5 years ago he suffered a heart attack. Im not going to go into it, as it is personal. He survived, but at the time, we were all so worried.

As a child, he was abused. His father and uncle went to war, his uncle, was killed. this sent a lot of grief to my granddad. My granddad beat my grandmother.

THINK OF WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO SEE YOUR MOTHER BEING BEATEN EVERY NIGHT. It would of sucked on so many levels. It would have also messed you up in later life. Like my dad.

He is very strict. Just like his dad. He makes the small things big, and the big things a disease. He obviously thinks that im the one in the family (of 7, 5 kids, and the parents) whose never gonna make the cut. Never be successful, be the broke one living on the street.

This has gone into such a big extent that now i go into my room onto my Macbook for hours on end. thats why i make posts in the BBS. I like reading peoples storys and waste my time re-posting advice or an un-funny joke. Why iv'e wasted my time making this HUGE ASS post.

Now that you know that, figure this out:
My sister is better than me, according to my dad.

- "Why can't you be like your sister?"

- "Why can't you just shut up and do what i say?"

- ect.

The other night, i went by his advice, and tried to help my brothers. They were fighting on the couch next to me as i was trying to watch TV. They were ripping shreds out of each-other, and when i tried to brake up the fight, lets just say i got several bite marks on my arm. Now while doing this, and screaming for my help to my father, and he wouldn't move a muscle. Just sitting down staring at me. So i just left them, to fight. And what do you know he gets angry and argues with me.
This extends to my room, where were continuing to argue and fight, this is when my dad says somethings i probably shouldn't of listend to. Things that no kid wants to hear from his dad.

On that note, im going to finish typing and leave you to fill in the gaps. Does my dad like me? Am i being selfish when i say this, seeing that all of that crap happened in his childhood? You tell me.

Has anything like this happened to you guys? Well NG?

I got a friend who's like that He knows that things won't change easily so he started doing small things that would make a big difference in the future. You see, what you're doing is escaping the reality by stucking yourself in your macbook doing stupid stuffs like posting in BBS. why don't you study your lessons,read a book and do something productive. Being in an online community is fun but that's just it., just fun and nothing more to bring.

Well, if he isn't going to treat you like a loving son then you shouldn't treat him like a loving father. Ignore him until he changes, and if he never does put him in the worst nursing home you can find once he gets older.

Smoke a spliff, listen to some mellow ass fucking dubstep, and focus on the positives.

That or get emancipated. I mean, do you feel it's worth staying in your situation? I know this girl who's the most fucked up person mentally there could ever be. (She's not like retarded or anything, just how she treats life and other people. She's kinda fine too. Got tits n shit on mah phon3z, but that's for later not now. Shit, apparently we "fell in love" with each other. But yeah, not gonna go into it) The point being, sometimes it takes leaving what you feel a slight connection to, to find something that you'll be even more connected to. I chose to fucking kick it with homies instead of fucking around with her because in the end, I realized that she would only lead to me being sad and shit. So yeah.

Just don't do anything stupid.
