I think it's funny that everyone hates him for the same reasons. They don't ever differentiate, it's all the same trend-following opposite of *traditional* conformity. And even the given reasons? Rarely do I see them being actual... reasons. I don't know if that makes sense. Like, the arrogance in that video.
People don't need excuses, though. Hate exists, for better or worse, and like love it makes the world go around.
Also, self-advertisement. I wrote some pretty articles about the hate. They're in my news posts.

Yes we have no reason to hate them. I would gladly say i would hang out with him if I saw him. But he'll stop being famous in 3-5 years.

He wasn't really acting like a douche, no. He looked more nervous then arrogant to be ohnest.
However I can remember the one time he went on "Alan Carr's Chatty Man" and acted like a total arrogant twat.
If that doesn't work then here is a shitty quality version.

I never got all the hate on him to, Sure I don't care for his music, and even if he was acting arrogant, why should I care?
I see it the way a court usually sees stuff, unless you received actual fiscal damage, in any form, weather it be directly, or indirectly, then why care?
But that's just my opinion.

Funny how the guy has built up the ego to flirt with Kim Kardashian...
Only works with 12 year old girls...

I have never once listened to a Justin Bieber song. I have no opinion of him because I have no idea who he really is.
I am better than all of you.

He's an awkward kid in my opinion, and he's also somewhat of a douche. I can definitely see how one could call him arrogant--especially considering his flirtatious Tweets with much, much, much older women.
I can't really blame him for much of anything, though; it's the twelve-year-old girls that actually listen to his music and support him are the problem. They've given him this massive superiority complex, something which a lot of people have an issue with.

His music really sucks, but he seems like a cool kid. He tried too hard to be cocky in that interview though.

Whoever thinks he was being arrogant is a moron.
That wasn't arrogance. That was just being a little cocky 16 year old - yes there is a difference. He was genuinely sincere towards his fans and understands how lucky he is right now. Like he said he's just having a blast. The flirting thing? It was just play. Most likely due to the fact that loads of older women are expressing interest in him.
I don't think he's arrogant at all. Just happy beyond anything 16 year old boys are used to and why wouldn't he be?

I sense people believe him to be arrogant because of the subject matter (y'know, that Justin Bieber flirts to get his own way) and I guess I can understand that: people who tend to flirt/compliment just to get something out of it seem pretty arrogant (but they have some confidence to do it).
The tone of his voice in the chat seemed quite laid-back and friendly though, as if to imply he actually has some genuine charm and that's how he gets away with it - he's not actually arrogant but just simply cheeky like many teenage boys.
I also really enjoy pressing the letter E on my keeeeeeeeeeyboard.

I flirt with people to get my way from time to time. I don't really see much harm in the whole thing. It makes you happy because you get what you want and it makes someone else happy because you flattered them.

Beiber is only poplular because losers like us always rant about him on forums. Quit the Beiber threads and he shall vanish eventually.

I have to admit. I normally saw him as just a over-hyped jerk, but you know what? He's actually not that bad. I wouldn't say he was being arrogant, he was just having fun.

Yeah. He is a pretty nice guy if you ask me. I would gladly hang out with him because I bet he is even more funny when the cameras are off. He was cracking me up when he was talking about him asking Kin Kardashian out. Wait until you are 18... then you can hit that.

Naw, Bieber was actin' pretty cool on that interview. Chelsea has a little too much personality for him to handle though, she got him into a corner a few times without realizing what she was doing :P
I guess she wanted him to feel a little humility to remind him that he's human. But she builds him back up afterwords. It was very psychological.

He's a'ight. He shouldn't be famous yet, though. His voice needs to grow in. But he is a strong singer and a decent dancer. He's also a pretty good drummer. It's his fans I can't stand, they're ruining his career before it gets started, and because of his insane fans, he'll start thinking he doesn't have to work for fame and get hooked on a drug, slipping in to obscurity for the rest of his years. Here's hoping it doesn't happen, when his voice comes in, (and stops being so breathy) he'll be the next king of pop.

I can accept that, but I was referring to a more excessive state where - for example - let's say you just became entirely dependent on some girl for things you wanted and the only pay you thought she wanted back was a simple flirt.
