Flash messing up audio 2010-09-18 13:28:30 Reply

Why does flash clip a second or two off some of the mp3 files I import? Some sounds work just fine but others don't. I don't get it. (Flash 8)

go to,
Publish settings > Flash > set Audio stream, audio event bit rate to 160 kbps and quality to best.

That didn't help. Flash still clips about one or two second off the mp3 files I import. The sound is clipped at the beginning, not at the end, and it is clipped in the library too, not just when exported in the swf. I found that wav files fix the problem but they are too large in file size to use in my game.
