I'm having all sorts of trouble with Apache, so hopefully someone might have a hint for me..
Apache is running on RedHat 7.0
I had it working before, but a couple of days ago I noticed that I (or anyone else outside) couldn't connect to the webserver. I saw that the httpd was running, so I decided to restart it. It didn't start up again. So I tried multiple times doing ./httpd and ./apachectl start. I did all this while su'ed to root. When I looked to see if it was running (ps -u root), I did not see httpd there. When trying ./apachectl restart it spit out something like: "restarting server, server not running. server started" but when I try to restart again, it says the same thing.. "not running".
So I can't get the fucker back up and running for some reason. The only thing I haven't tried yet is to do a hard reboot.. and that's coming up next. Any other ideas?
Another weird thing is that the server is connected to the internet just fine. IN FACT, I can ftp to the machine, but it just hangs on the http requests.

Well, rebooting the machine didn't help. I can start and stop the httpd daemon now, but it still doesn't serve up pages.. just hangs there.
