Mods have the final say here on Newgrounds, which is great, because we need someone in control... but why can't we argue back when something is deleted as inappropriate, when we say it isn't? I simply told a story recently of what happened to me involving dodgy cops, and it was flagged as inappropriate, when I believe there was nothing inappropriate about it. But we don't get to reason with this "godlike" control... Shouldn't there be a system where if at least three mods flag it, THEN it gets deleted? I don't know, I'm just tired of being picked on...

I should ban you for making a thread to complain about a previously deleted thread. But I'm not.
your idea is a bad one because there isn't always 3 moderators online at a time. in face, I've found myself patrolling alone during low-traffic times and late at night. If something inappropriate is posted, I'm the only one around who can take care of it.
If somebody decides to go off the handle and post porn or illegal things in each thread or in new threads on multiple forums, I need to be able to clean it up quickly and efficiently.
The job isn't hard. there's a little quality control put into it because this isn't a free-for-all type place, the community is just too large and the number of users under 18 is probably a majority and the forums are supposed to be a place for discussion about flash, movies, games, audio and art relevant to the website. We are volunteers. We aren't paid. We are just fans of the website and the Flash community at large.
and there is a system to discuss something you think we've done wrong, it's the Private Message system. Forum moderators show up bright green on the users online list, you can click our profiles and scroll down to 'contact malachy' and it will bring you to a new PM screen where you can write your peace there.
If you still feel you want to go higher, you may PM WadeFulp, he handles user issues. Not that it will do you much of any good, but you can if you want.

That is such a terrible idea. The mods are there because they are trusted with dealing with your shit. It's not like they were having an ego trip or anything... their job is mostly boring, having to deal with your crap, and then receiving a shitton of PMs full of crying and teen anger. They can lock and delete whatever they fuck they want. If you're not happy, feel free to leave. And if you think a Mod is abusing his powers, PM Wade about it, like Mal said.

The mods are doing a fantastic job running the forums. Its you getting picked on cause of the mistakes you were making. And complaining about your thread getting deleted is a big NO. It got deleted cause of some rule broke. Malachy and 36holla aren't bad mods they just run the forums a little more strict than the others so can users please stop belly aching about this kind of shit.

I think everyone completely misunderstood what the point of this post was.... I was simply saying that some of the stuff I've posted up, not only on the forums, on the audio portal as well, has been flagged and deleted when I honestly didn't think anything was wrong with them. It wasn't spam, or illegal, or porn or anything, it was just deleted, and I was simply asking why. But, never mind, sorry if I offended ya's. I wasn't bagging out the Mods or anything, simply saying I was angry that my stuff was deleted when nothing was wrong about it. I know I'm a new user, and I'm definitely not as respected as everyone else, not even close... but I guess I'll just have to work with the fact that half my work gets deleted when nothing's wrong with it.

Last time I tried to talk about my ban via PM to a moderator (not going to mention any names), he added an extra day to my ban, so just saying that I personally agree with you.
But the idea of something being flagged by three mods isn't such a good one, I'm afraid. If a moderator isn't doing his job well, I'd imagine that he'd get removed.

2. How's a mod's job security? How hard assed are the admins? Probably not very, but... details?
