Oh christ, where do I begin. I can't think straight.
Me and my friends were hanging out. You know the drill, relaxing and maxing with two cases of miller high life. Anyways long story short we decided to get in my car and deface street signs with our artistic endeavors (spray painting dicks on street signs).
It was all good and fun but me, driving in my car with quite a few beers in me, crashed into a street post near a school zone. Anyways some dickhead ended up calling the cops and tailing us as we pulled into my friend Clyde's house.
But yeah, now I'm stuck with a myriad of fines and a court date and I have absolutely no way to pay for a lawyer to worm me out of this shit. I can't pay the fines since I lost my job and now I'm utterly terrified that I'm going to be sentenced to jail.
Oh god, someone give me some decent advise.

No, it wasn't a mistake. A mistake is giving the wrong memo to your boss, a mistake is misinterpreting what someone said, a mistake is getting the wrong answer on a test.
Knowingly drinking a few beers and getting behind the wheel of a car isn't a "mistake", it is stupidity. Unless of course, you were completely unaware beer impairs your senses.

So you could earn yourself an all-expenses paid free-living jail setup. I'm really happy about your go-getter attitude in handling these problems, it shows a lot of maturity and growth. Opting to be locked away like that is an ingenious way to handle 'apartment foreclosure'.
I'd go for community service, don't let your court appointed lawyer make decisions or deals behind your back, they're good at that.

It was a mistake, I've done it plenty of times in the past and driven just fine. My record is 15 beers.
This time was a fluke since my friends were fucking around in the car.

i'm not a lawyer, but your best bet is either lie your way through court and hope you can slide through the cracks, OR be honest about your faults and hope the judge will take it easy on you.
considering the amount of evidence they might have against you, it'd probably be better to bite the bullet, and see how your trial plays out.
