I'm curious why Bosa hasn't contributed to the thread yet... I wanna hear what he has to say about me.
Betcha it isn't a comment, rather than him giggling like a school girl at the competition.

I've been a little behind on keeping updated on this thread, so I may as well post saying I'm still here and also say that when I'm judging, I look for composition, originality, mood, instrumentation, mastering, and EQing. I also give alot of props to those who give more originality than what is normally heard in a certain genre.

So does that mean if you put your song into the misc. genre then nothing is original? :P

alot of the misc songs i've heard are very original, so it might be tough for a misc song to stand out. This being said, I have the strong feeling that one misc song will stand out over the other misc songs for true epicness. There's always more than one thing that contributes to originality, even if it's in a genre full of it.

So I have 9 days to come up with something.
I made something a couple of days after this thread was made, but it's not up to the contest's standards, so I'll come up with something else and take more than lol40minutes working on a track.

I've got one rather complex/multi-genre'd piece that will do, but I'm considering writing within the next 7-ish days some dance song with a grunty-IO flare. Unsure, progress is being made though.
