R . E . boot

So, in the next 4-8 years we will see one of two things. Either we will see Resident Evil 6 or the game will be rebooted entirely(like my play on words?). Which do you think would happen and which would be better?

Maverick Hunter X was a reboot, but everyone calls it a remake. And it was made by Capcom. It might be both.

No, that's RE Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS. You can look up a trailer on Youtube. Have to say that the trailer is kind of wierd. I still have NO idea what the plot could be, but Chris definitely looks like a bad guy now.

I doubt we'll be seeing a total reboot. Storyline wise, they have 10 years of events to work with, and the whole world to choose a spot for an outbreak. RE5 claimed that Bioterrorism with the Viruses had run so rampant that the UN created an international organization to stop it (BSAA). There's so much room for new installments using new and old characters that it's not all that funny.

I don't think Christ turning evil really would make for a good story line, or at least a memorable one. Remember how Leon S. Kennedy died in one of the Resident Evil games? Of course not, no one does but it happened.

I would like to see another Leon/Clair pairing. Frankly I like Leon better than Chris, but I doubt Chris will turn bad, and if he is passed off as an antagonist most likely be a temporary thing like when Jill was the villain in RE 5. But this I doubt will have any affect on Resident Evil 6 either way. It may though, so we shall find out.

Not sure what that meant, but I hope that they continue the story already set up. There are plenty of plot points they can still cover.
