As a 23 year old fat single female nerd I obviously love yaoi.

I'm not into it as much as I was during my late teens but I'm always up for a bit of the male/male love scene really.

The art is typically more 'beautiful' than with yuri - Where it seems a rule to just give the girls giant fucking tits and nothing else.

Personally though I'm more into the fanfiction side of yaoi. I get my kicks off better to reading material then images. Gives you more to work with, plus it's just hot.

I've not read any non-pornographic yaoi, but I have read a non-pornographic yuri comic. It was an adorably depressing comic about a young girl struggling with her sexuality and her attraction to her (heterosexual) friend.

I guess the thing for me is that I always prefer to view/read stuff from already established characters from various different works. I don't go out and seek random fanservice for anybody. Which is why fanfiction suits my needs as it's much easier to find yaoi for the characters I'm interested in. Plus I just find it hotter 3:

Actually I thought you had departed us too. It was a nice surprise to see your name creep up, and even more nice when your name appeared with a yaoi thread.

That is what happens when you go away to a college that blocks NG. It didn't help that NG blocked Proxies either. As for the other part, I had to make another one since I made several in the past. What surprises me is that the reactions aren't like they used to be which is actually good.

I wished I had known that sooner :( I would have asked you do deposit for me. But at the same time due to the change of the layout, I avoid doing that since I can't change my password without putting in a gender (Damn Admins for making it mandortory to add a gender to update your profile)

Male gay action can be really dirty or really nice. Pure action between guys usually is quite disgusting. 2 penises and no female boob is just not right to look at. But when there's tensionful build up, anything can be beautiful.

As far as fanfiction is considered, it's quasi ridiculous how often the most disperse male characters in stories tend to want to do each other. I can get they build it around characters who have some sexual tension betwen them in the development. But when they go with arch-nemesies claiming they only did evil so they could get laid with the main character, you're crossing the line between erotic fun to absurd humor.

Finally a serious poster besides Gagsy. On a note Not all yaoi has to do with sex. It could be an between to males kissing, hugging, or just holding hands in art. Then again, don't get me wrong. I also have feelings like this about straight or lesbian porn. Any might serve as a good wank, but there is a whole different level of enjoyment they often fail to deliver.
Most scenes of porn consider of random people just in there to fuck and little happens outside of this frame. This is amplified, contrary to yaoi, by the fact that it's written for men to find easy release. Yaoi however is strengthened by the goal of delivering romance, rather than quick sexual release. This due to the audience being harder to please.
What annoys me, though, about animeJapanese porn, or at least what I've heard of it, is sometimes the opposite of the lack of a story. They get too wild and picture circumstances that are 100% fictional, with tentacle monsters or astronaut space guys or demons invoked for sexual favours. Sometimes I do wonder if all this is written for sexual goals or just to make people laugh.
The perfect porn all around should be a balance between fantasy settings and natural attainable erotica. That's also the part that rlates to my second issue, characters that are actually the least likely to get involved with eachother getting involved. After reading or watching the original series, you figure out what's attainable and what's not. In fanfiction, you can cross the boundaries of the original plot, but you must stay within the plausable area. Otherwise any erotic action seems implausible.
