1,000,000 threads on the BBS

From since February 22nd, 2001 to now September 14th, 2010 (over 9.6 years), the NG BBS has accumulated 1,000,000 threads from various users from the community. Of those 1,000,000 threads, how many have the BBS moderators deleted? 200,000? 250,000? (Subtract the number at the end of this thread's URL from 1,000,000). How many do you think have been locked?

There are an average of 19-20 posts in each thread on the BBS.

For the record, this thread marked the 1,000,000 count.

Anyway, those are some questions to think about. Without further ado, here is a screenshot of the BBS hitting 1,000,000 threads so that it is permanently carved here:

Now in my time here, I think I've seen about 3 of these - so something tells me this is not 1,000,000, and to reassure you, look at the URL of this page. 1,198,253 (more than 1,000,000). Lots of threads have been locked & deleted. That's why the aren't counted.

We should strive for the 10,000,000th thread here! Or we could strive for the 100,000,000th thread post which we have a closer chance of getting to anyway (at least in terms of how soon we will get it). Is there anything about this on the front page? It seems like we should celebrate this stuff by having something special on the forums. Like, for one day, all of us could have golden auras or something like that.
