Yeah, the only thing that I think could be improved is maybe make the fire fade in over 3-4 frames, or have it slide up from the bottom. It looks a bit weird just appearing like that.

I think I'm going to go REALLY simple with this last part, since I really don't have it in me to do any more of this devil/demon/weird horned monster crap. I think for my fourth part, if I'm even allowed and up to making one, will have something to do with LoZ or some other video game.

Pretty good, I would suggest making the hue a little bit purple/orange before going full daylight, though. Also, the moon and sun go straight up and down, which doesn't happen in real life. Otherwise, I like it.

There, wasn't so hard. Phew! I'm definitely not going to go back in and add the horns, eyes, n' crap. It would simply be too tedious.

In all honestly, I think that when things are more simple it's for the better. In my opinion, 3 seconds isn't enough time to cram in a lot of stuff. I'm trying hard to make mine simple but effective. I think that when people are telling others to jam in more stuff, the animations are just going to look messy. I think the reasoning behind this is because when we show everyone a preview, it just loops over and over and we get bored of it. In the real submission people are going to see these for 3 seconds and 3 seconds only. I think that in a short animation only one MAYBE two things should happen, otherwise it looks like a clusterfuck.

Ill leave my opinion anyway, its not a matter of simplicity, i think theres not much effort on the submissions ive pointed out, therefore they are not looking how they should, i hope i was polite enough

No offence to anyone, but I gotta agree.
Many of the submissions seem like people just whipped them up in no time at all, but seriously; its not a race.
Put some time and effort into your work; this collab (IMHO) shouldn't just be about making something that lasts 60 frames, it should be about making EPIC things that last 60 frames, something that your proud of, something that people haven't seen before.
Like really, who want's to watch something that has 3 second clips of old, boring, un-original, bad quality clips? (Again, it isn't directed at anyone, i'm just making a point)

Shadow's good too like the shadow is also moving at the pace of the moon and sun and also the sudden yellowing is kinda bad make it slowly yellow as the sun goes up because the yellowin was first that the sun XD

Are there any parts left? I'm sure I can pull out 3 seconds of animation quite well, hah.

thats looking so much better carr70, i still think there are things to fix, like:

-once the sun is out there should be no yellow
-there are shadows during night too, specially with such a big moon
-u could work a lil on ur house and buildings

i thought the second collab was graphically way better than the first althought its music sucked, plus the charm of this project is to show the work of many different animators in a really short period of time, encouraging quality given the short amount of frames. i think tom see this collab as a demo reel of what regular newgrounds animators are capable of...dunno
