4.09 / 5.00 15,161 ViewsHey guys, I really need some suggestions for games right now. My PC is pretty shitty, but I've already played a lot of games that it can run and now all I game on is my PSP 'cause my PC's specs are so low, and it's really starting to suck. Now, I know my computer's specs are bad, and I know it can't run any games past 05/06, but I've already found a lot of games it can run, but in a nutshell I've played all of them/gotten bored of them. I would build a new PC if I had the money, but I don't, and I've really hit a standstill in the games I can play.
Here are the specs:
Pentium M Processor @ 1.60GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon @ 64MB
512MB RAM
Windows XP SP.3
I've already played through:
UT99
Halo 1
Cube
Saurbraten
San Andreas
Warsow
Need for Speed Underground 2
Hitman 2 Silent Assassin
And that's about it. I can't really find games my PC can support anymore, but the way I figure it, you guys should at least have a couple suggestions. The genre doesn't matter to me, I mean, I'll take any suggestion at this point, cause I can't find anything. Just try to help me out here guys, cause not having an actual console and no games for the PC really, really sucks.

I'm pretty sure you'd be able to play Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
So go for that.
Don't take for granted the fact that as a PC gamer you have total access to the wonderful world of freeware indie games, a privilege that my stupid Mac-owning ass doesn't have. Please play Spelunky for me. And if you haven't played Cave Story yet....like, what's wrong with you?
But if you really need retail games for some reason, I suggest hunting down Myst or Rollercoaster Tycoon.

I'll have to find that one, I remember playing the console version of it, it was badass. It'll prolly be hard to find though, but oh well, it should be worth it.

I've been playing more freeware recently, such as Cube and Saurbraten, but Spelunky looks cool, I'll have to download that. And no, I haven't played Cave Story yet, my bad lol. I'll try to find Myst as well, looks cool.
Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys! Anyone got any ideas on an FPS game my PC might support?

Since I really only play slightly older games on my PC these days, it's all I can recommend to you, but here it goes.
Age of Mythology
Commandos 1 & 2
Fallout 1 & 2
Gangsters: Organised Crime
Mafia
Max Payne
Knights of the Old Republic
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Might seem like a odd list of games, but I just had a look through all my PC games and recommended some of my favourite titles. There's nothing recent on the list, but I found all of those games kept me occupied for a good few hours.

My comp's not so great at gaming either, but if you can, try Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. If you want some online games, I recommend Urban Terror and Counter-Strike.

That's an awesome list man, really, that'll keep me busy for a good long time. Thanks for that.

I'm not a big fan of CS, but I'm looking at Urban Terror right now and it looks pretty cool, I'll have to download it. I'm looking over that Medal of Honor title as well, that looks like a good game too.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys, they are much appreciated. Now I'm off to spend my Saturday hunting down old games :D.

I believe you can get it on Steam.

No dude, Star Wars KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are both extremely easy to find for the PC, and you should be able to run them both. They're both fairly cheap as well, and are amazing games.

Yeah, as it turns out it was easier to find KOTOR than I thought it would be. I got that and Morrowind for under $50.
Thanks for all the suggestions and stuff guys, Knights of the Old Republic is awesome so far and I can tell that Morrowind is going to last me a very, very long time. (which is a good thing :P)

Ah, now that's a fun game. I've played the shit out of the online beta version thing, and while I think that it is a good game, it gets very repetitive. The gameplay is good, but doing the same thing over and over again and having to buy it to play multiplayer just doesn't seem worth it. Regardless, it is a good game and I'll continue to play the in-browser version cause that doesn't cost me a dime. :D

Damn, I used to have that game, and then it got all scratched up and now it doesn't work. I'll have to get that one again, it's the best Hitman title IMO, besides Silent Assassin of course.
So many games...so little money...
