Yamor, I couldn't sympathize with you more.
I've got a brother myself, a good 13, and he has to be the most pussy, piece of shit weird crap that's ever fallen into my life. God knows how he's managed to survive this far, but basically he's about as horrible as yours, except he's stuck up and a suck up to boot.
I don't know how to toughen him up, and right now I don't particularly care - I'm just pushing him away. Not talking unless I have to, that sort of thing. And it's working, we hardly even communicate, and it's made my life all the much brighter.
My mother used to use "You were like that when you were his age" and well, now it's a reply of "No I wasn't". And I wasn't because she's literally confusing my 13 year old brother with a 5 year old me. No 13-year old acts like a 5 year old. It's bloody pathetic, and he draws nothing but contempt from me nowadays.
He's no brother of mine, but I don't recommend my way of dealing with my brother to you.

His mother is my step-mother and he lives with her and my dad. :p

It is the way he is. It gets under my skin because I always imagined that my brother would be cool and I could mentor him and we could do some crazy shit. But he turned out like... whatever he is.

It'll sort itself out. When he encounters bullies,(Which is INEVITABLE) he'll learn to wipe his tears and stand up for himself and not be (Atleast not as) gay.

I wasn't seriously questioning it. I actually doubt he is going to be gay. But he seems like he is going to be a very emotional man that will cause everyone he meets to feel awkward.

Grammar is very important
spatticus is right. Object of a preposition, BITCH!
Also, there should be the word 'that' at the beginning of the independent clause that starts with 'he lives.'
Little kids do stuff like that. It's immature at that age, but most of the time they grow out of it. Wait until he's like 12 or 14; then you can start seriously mentoring the shit out of that kid.
If you don't like my poetry, scroll down the page a bit. It gets better.

Yup. This past summer I was a counselor at a day camp; my kids were also 8 year olds, and most of them cried at one point or another over the dumbest shit you can possibly think of (the guy who invented Silly Bandz should be thrown in jail). Consequently:

Bullshit. All kids get upset over trivial things (to varying degrees), and all kids get on their parents' nerves (again, to varying degrees).
Y'know, people bitch about their little siblings all the time on this forum, and as the youngest (uh...by a minute) of three kids it kinda pisses me off. You guys really don't know how lucky you are. I would've loved to have had a little brother when I was growing up, and if a little oversensitivity was the most annoying thing about him, I wouldn't really have much to complain about.
If you haven't been able to tell by now, I myself was a bit of a crier when I was little.

I came into this topic expecting some King of the Hill references and related content.
Upon realizing this topic had nothing to do with Hank Hill, Bobby Hill, Peggy Hill and Sarah Pallin, I have a word of advice you and your whole family should seriously consider.
Please set yourselves on fire and burn to death.
Thanks.
