4.07 / 5.00 13,902 ViewsA friend asked me to to a quick thing for their Etsy page. So I whipped something up in Illustrator and saved it as a PNG at 72 ppi. The file looks fine when viewing it in imageready or other stuff but once its uploaded to the web its gets blurry.You can see what happens here.
Anyone able to help me out on this?
How are you saving it? With "Export..." or "Save for Web & Devices..."?

Oh Ive been using 'export', Im guessing I should be using the web one?
still having the blurry problem. Any other advice please?
Thanks anyway nae
Is the webmaster stretching the image to fit the page? If you scale the image up, it's going to stretch the pixels which will give you that blurry effect. Better to make the image the exact size that's in the website, so if the image code is this:
<img src="image.jpg" width="100" height="100">
then the image should be the same

It go's fuzzy once I put it on Etsy. Thanks for trying though.

Nah theres no upload settings when putting up the image. I thought maybe it was the site but all the other banners I checked look fine.
Ever think that maybe it's the site and not the image?
