America, being as powerful and attention-whoring as it is, will get the insults far more than any other country. It's just someone to point the finger at. For every problem or situation there has to be someone to put the blame on - BOOM! America is the fat one.
Sad, but true.

I fucking do the amount of fatties wobbling around is growing by the hour, you can't go anywhere without thinking to myself "good god look at the size of that one" either you don't get around much of your lil part of London is very against the norm. We're only a small island you know, you'll fucking sink us!

It just doesn't make sense.I don't quite understand where this English "Fat rate" as you may call it, has appeared from. In most English towns there is only (From what I have seen) 3 or 4 Fast Food chains. When somebody overweight is walking down a road, most people stare and gasp at them. I don't really have any "Fat" friends and It's rare to see an obese person walking around when I go out.
And I live in London. Well, West London anyway. It's more quiet this side and less busy too. But look at it this way ~
America's Population ~ 305,689,000 ~ Approx.
England's Population ~ 51,446,000 ~ Approx.
I don't see how you can compare them to be ohnest.
Obesity and being overweight is a much bigger problem in the North of the country where people have less money and aren't as well educated (statistically). So you wouldn't see that much in the London area.
Also 'overweight' statistics don't take into account anything other than your BMI, and we all know that is rubbish. I am technically overweight, but if you walked past me in the street you certainly wouldn't think so. I'm just a bit shorter than average and well built from years of swimming.
So what makes the difference is that the 60% or whatever of Brits that are overweight are in general not much overweight (or at least aren't housebound blimps), whereas we hear all the time about morbidly obese Americans (yay for biased media coverage!)- I'm willing to bet that the proportion who has a BMI over 40 is much larger in American than it is in the UK (but have no stats to back up my wild claim based solely on what I have seen on TV...).

What the fuck? You have had one major oil spill in god knows how long. That does not mean that you get them all the time. Considering how big America is a very, very big deal was made out of some birds dying.
And America doesn't carry oil at all. Why do you think wars are breaking out over this shit? If you had oil you wouldn't be on the other side of the world fighting for it.

i find the socialist fearing part interesting. i hear people from other countries say that about us all the time. most people are not welcome to socialism, but FEARING? i have never in my life see someone scared of socialism. the reason most of us americans oppose socialism, is because they want the government to have as little power as possible. but i welcome the thought of socialist aspects to our government, but socialism alone is a flawed system; just like monarchy, democracy, and communism. im also not fat, i am very tolerant and dont act better than other people, and i try by best to follow what i say. and there are a lot of people like me, and there are a lot of people like what you described. but im sure that there are fat, ignorant, self-righteous, and hypocritical people in other countries; those things are part of human nature, not necessarily american nature.
Basically the "7 deadly sins" wrapped into one coated with a nice layer of Racism, sprinkled with Egotistic and a side of Ignorance.

We invented dirty lyrics to our national anthem.

to be fair we didnt have to say the pledge, theyd blare it over the speakers like muslims at prayer time and id just sit there. I pledge allegiance to myself, and the island of me.

this. i always said it, but you dont have to. there were always a few people that didnt stand up. i say it because i believe everything i say. and as kids, we would also replace the words. like in third grade we would say "i pledge allegiance, to the hamster..." it isnt funny now, but it was in third grade.
