Look at all this wonderful art practice
I really really like the last few pictures a LOT (I'm sure earlier ones are great too but I haven't got time to view the whole entire thread tonight lol)
Practice makes perfect. Though my favorite quote is "If you don't practice then you will ceased to improved" though I heard that quote from an orchestra teacher, still apply to everything else though.
Anywho, here are some gesture drawings sketches I did for hours. Felt like a roller coaster ride, started out blah..... then I progress to some good pose results real quick then I eventually went blah again. The pics isn't set up in any order so yeah, I started out with 90 sec posemaniac drawings.
Started out as stick figures, most didn't grasp the pose that I'm trying to draw, but I eventually drew the stick form alright but then fleshing them out became difficult.....but then that became alright too (in some cases). I recently notice a pattern or shape, so I began drawing in poses in squares, rectangles, and triangles.
I eventually stop doing 90 sec poses and went with a slideshow. Observing approaches to how to quickly draw the gestures. Overall I guess it's all in the footing or where you're starting to draw (makes a difference which body part you will follow up to draw the pose).
Then I went to lovecastle and drew some female nude poses. Got too tired out to do some male nudes, but I'll get to them in the next time I'm doing gesture drawings.
