animation ownership

i was wondering what were laws regarding animation ownership on newgrounds, i mean, is it public domain once it hits the portal? i know audio is protected by CC, meaning anyone can do the fuck what they want with your thing BUT ppl must ask you first (i think), but what about animation, is it under CC too?

The Audio Portal is like that due to people commonly having legal issues with using music from other places due to copyright.
The Flash Portal doesn't have something like that, there is no CC on the Flash unless the user specifies so.

i guess i get what you´re saying, but i think you got the concept backwards. having you work under CC doesnt mean that you havent used copyrighted material on it, CC is just like copyright with some different features i wont list now, meaning its actually convinient having your work under some license, i could rip egoraptor´s flashes somehow and claim they are mine otherwise (its just an example egorapty honey).

whats my point?: i dont want my hard work available for anyone without asking first (for starters)

does NG protect flash movies with licensing or i have to pay for it myself?
if not, why audio portal uses CC and flash portal doesnt?

Basiclly no one may steal your stuff if you put your things on the portal but they do anyway sometimes and there really isn't alot you can do about it unless you get a lawyer :P if you wanna protect yourself you can get an .swf decompile protection software.
