I don't really care about their review getting taken down, it was quite unfunny. After that, all the reviewers on that site started making "comeback" videos.. Lame.
Congrats on the game. It's amazingly well done. And yay for stats!
Congratulations ! You Made Tommy Wiseau more popular than Barack Obama And Justin Bieber ! :D
Entertainment Weekly huh?!?!?! Not too shabby NG.

Congrats by the way.

Anyone besides this dude find anything even remotely frustrating? I didn't have any issues with the game play or anything like that.. The only thing that kinda pestered me was the CPU rape on certain scenes, not trying to spoil or I would give specifics but there are a few scenes where the entire game lags a bit - for me at least.. As for his pointless endeavor comment, thats bull shit. If anything you'll probably enjoy the movie more after playing this and the best part is you'll have heard of it to watch it.
Check out the rifftracks commentary version too. MST3k dudes made it at least 5x as funny and a bit more bearable at times. :3
Pretty owsum. Newgrounds is moving on up in the world, one day we will be bigger than Facebook!!!
Hai Newgrounds Forum!

I know what you mean. On the one hand, we have this fantastically awful movie that deserves all the recognition it gets, and has more than earned the right to be displayed next to other such "masterpieces" like 'Plan Nine from Outer Space' and 'Manos the Hands of Fate'. On the other hand, Wiseau has proven himself to be a total cock.
You can't promote the movie without promoting the guy who directed it. But boycotting the movie means that it will lose popularity and sink back into obscurity, denying countless others the pleasure it could bring. Personally, this whole issue is tearing me apart.
Eh, these young'uns today. Ain't got no respect for their elders, I tells ya.
(22 is the new 65)
Game is amazing. But, the movie is still chief.
If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it!
Better yet, if you have a chance to see a midnight screening of it, spend the extra bucks (usually like $15 a ticket) and see it. And, don't forget your spoons.
By the way,
Great game Tom, you covered the whole movie. Good thinking!
I was honestly expecting some jerk off from The Room's Website to try and post copyright infringement, after all, If Doug Walker aka The Nostalgia Critic got that kind of message from Wiseau Studios just for making a damn review, which was covered by Fair Use and Satire/Parody clause...Oy, so basically, I still think Wiseau Studios are a bunch of a-holes if they can't handle a damn review on their movie by an Internet Celebrity, I mean, you have to be pretty fucking insecure to let something like that get to you
Thank you Tom for spreading the joy!

I don't know why everyones like "if you didn't see the movie you wouldn't get the game" I have never seen the movie and the game made perfect sense to me, then I even looked it up on imdb to make sure. but anyway great game Tom and I am glad it has made it onto the news! Very fun, I have always enjoyed the 8bit/16bit game styles people have been doing.
Game Set Watch just tweeted about the Room!

oh tom im so lucky ur mai best friend! and randomly sitting on my roof with a basket ball! :D
Tom, it would have been really cool had Wiseau approached you to make this game back in 2003. You could have single-handedly saved him hundreds of thousands of dollars (in advertising costs)!
