Well gee James, if there was some major crisis going on and you had to be on hand for it wouldn't you BE in Philly?

Please tell me you were pulling my leg...

Probably not. There's nothing much they would need me to be over there in person for.

I've seen muse live! They were in Norway in october, but I dont think they gave it their all, didnt have that special thing that bands have on those good good good concerts!

Dont take me wrong, it was a good concert, but not the best!

This is the bands I've seen live that is better then muse:
-Tool
-Audioslave
-Gaate
-Big bang
-Kaizers Orchestra
-Turbonegro
-The hellacopters
-Rammstein
-Queens of the stone age

I have a live DVD of muse, and thats the best shit I've ever seen!

My favorite Muse songs are:
-Showbiz = sunburn, fillip, cave, uno, showbiz, hate this and i'll love you
-Origin of Symmetry = Bliss,Space dementia,Plug in baby,micro cuts,citizen ereased,megalomania(basically all ; ))
-Hullabaloo = Deadstar,In your world, map of your head
-Absolution = The small print, hysteria, time is running out, sing for absolution, stockholm syndrome(that song blew me totally away, didnt expect it!!)

Well, that was D_F_N's muse guide!

haha, yeah.. It would be like seeing Oasis because you missed out on the Beatles. Only, you can still catch Radiohead.

Muse are terribly overrated. Decent, but not worth the hype :)

Check out the Eagles of Death Metal instead :D

What on earth are you talking about? I DO want to go to a gig that they play, but they don't have any gigs listed in the UK, where I live. That's my gripe.

I'm not going to take a transatlantic flight to see a band I've already been to see.

I don't think so :(
I'm going to leeds fest (whole weekend) but, Muse said earlier this year they were considering not doing it. I've seen them before though..although it'd be great to see them again.
Their live performances _are_ special ^^ and personally, I beleive they are nothing like radiohead at all...

Muse song I'm listening to now : Conscience - all their B sides are really good, like, spiral static, house of the rising sun (cover), coma. They rock *full stop*

In my first post, I wrote: "But they're not touring here in the UK (other than headlining at big festivals, which I can't be assed with going to and camping out for a couple of nights)."

I was gonna go to T in the park this summmer to see them there, but they would basically be the only band i'd be there to see; so I ain't paying £70 to go there to see one band. Wouldnt mind seeing David Bowie I spose, but couldnt care less about the strokes and the darkness really - not bad nands, jsu tnot my favs.
How big are Muse in America? I wasn't so sure if they'd even been heard of over there.
