Failtroll.
Anyway, nah, he shouldn't. Its just too fun to let one kill the other.

Gotham as the Joker's playground seems way safer than it ran by Batman. I mean villains harm the people of Gotham to get at Batman. The Joker did it just to get Batman's attention. Bruce Wayne should stay Bruce Wayne and leave Batman to die.

Batman does kill the joker, in the graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns" by Frank Miller.
Also, in Arkham Asylum or something, another graphic novel, it basically explains why he lets the joker live etc.

I think we've came to a conclusion: Batman should lay down his mask and return to being Bruce Wayne, allowing Joker to run Gotham. Which we all know won't last long because Joker will miss the thrill of always getting under Batman's skin and feel like he's lost that one person he has a connection with leaving Gotham to be a normal city. I give this thread an hour for objections. If there are none it can be locked.

Nah, they should become friends, because it takes a bigger man to put away past differences and get along, than it does to kill someone.

Joker offered to become allies with him but Batman turned him down. Joker even said they're almost the same person.

In many of the universes and reincarnations of Batman, he has already killed Joker, as stated, but the original Batman? No. A detective is not a murderer, and although he's also a vigilante, he just wants to stop the Joker from terrorizing Gotham City. However, the Dark Knight is another story, seeing as he's in a universe not too different from the original Batman world.

No way. The Joker is the best villain Batman has ever faced. He is the opposite of Batman, yet they are somewhat similar if you think about it in a very odd way. Still, it is probably one of the best comicbook struggles ever and it would be a shame to have such an interesting villain killed off.

Well, that certainly tells us something about Batman's character. Perhaps if he stopped dressing all in black and ceased living in caves like the Goth-fag he is, he'd enjoy life more, and save a good deal of money from no longer shopping at Hot Topic.

But if Joke kills Batman then there will be no more Joker because he depends on Batman to keep him whole. (In a totally Psycho Non-Homosexual way)

For the sake of entertainment: HELL NO!
For the sake of the safety of Gotham: Yes. He should have killed him a while ago. I always thought that his no-killing rule was a bit selfish. I mean, come on, Joker must have killed a whole bunch of people by now and he's not going to off him because of some personal rule? That's a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I'm all for rehabilitation but some people just gots to go.

He wouldn't have an archenemy if he killed Joker, so I'd say no. Besides, Joker somehow never dies, regardless of what anyone does to him.

Batman can always be replaced later on. It's just a costume and anybody can be Batman even the Couch.

That's like saying The Joker is nothing but a psycho with a jar of face paint

It's 'like' saying it but Batman was already replaced. See pic below.

Point taken but the replacements are never as good as the original.

While Batman certainly has a code against killing, this still does not answer the question of why somebody else has simply not shot the Joker. Given the fact that he is a known mass murderer, you would think at this point that the moment he shows up in any place a police office is (or for that matter, any place where someone with a gun is) they would simply fill him with lead on the spot. Of course, it would end the series again.

I think the reason no one has blasted him yet is because he has the hold of fear over everyone. He's "died" in the past yet has came back so they may just think they can't kill him.
