So how about you guys?
More black people than any other school in Michigan other than Willow Run.
WE THE GHETTO KINGS.
A vagina is really just a hat for a penis.
I go to a school in Albuquerque that actually allows consensual fighting.
The place is nuts.
Well, the one I'm at now, 90% women.
My high school's football team is number one in the nation according to USA Today.
Free lunch, besides that my school is shit.

Nothing. My school is unorganized, starts earlier, gets out later, is HUGE and really really old and kind of dumpish.
Day 3 starts tomorrow.

We have many many black people.
We also have a fight every single day, atleast.
Unrelated?! I think not!
Loo Loo Loo, I got some apples, Loo Loo Loo you got some too.

I cant really say the high school I went to had anything particularly good. It didnt even have good computers and it was meant to be a technology school.
Although, there was a swimming pool attached to the school.
Release your inner crazy.
My school started this thing called Lunch Bunch which tries to make lunch fun. We have 2 Wii's, Guitar Hero, foosball, checkers, etc.. and the 2 teachers that started it have been all around America to talk about. Your school prolly got it from us, bud.
I'm home-schooled, so I get to sleep in and take breaks whenever I want.
Oh yeah and at the end of last year we had this party in school for the last day at school, we got to wrestle in sumo suits and we got to throw pies at teachers (shaving cream pies)
The teachers eat people. So many people...

Ha, reminds me of my old school. Originally it was a sports-based school (With no swimming pool, and all the P.E. group ever done was football. And netball. No gymnastics, athletics or gym :( ), but then it started developing in other fields, apparent good reviews for it being great when it came to technology!
It taken at least 10 minutes to log onto the system 80% of the time, the internet was painfully slow and often blocked links that could be beneficial to learning, or just plain limited choices of accessing (Like, to get onto Google Images, you had to search "Images" in Google and click the link from the search results, the menu bar at the top was blocked, and typing the link in was too... reason; "Pornography"), the technology itself was sub-par, I was teaching the teacher basic IT things in terms of a few programs I have never used before and only messed about with for 5 minutes, I clairvoyantly got the information of how to use them and... you get the picture, it was a whole load of bullshit.
Wasn't much benefit. I hated it. It wasn't just the technology and all that, butb the way the teachers dealt with a lot of things, the approach they had to a lot of things, and just generally, it was bad. Bad bad -bad-.
College, however... let's just say, there's a lot more support (Personal, financial... pretty much general assistance you may want), things are seemingly dealt with properly - basically a no-tolerance approach when it comes to physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and support for diversity in general, be it transgender (which is a really big thing to me), orientation, religion, ethnicity, pretty much everything down to the person. This isn't even counting the aid I'm recieving that isn't verbal, but materialistic. Things like the LSF, EMA, a bus pass that deducts your savers, and another one that allows you to pay concessionary fare for college days.
So yeah. I'm happy with college already. I want to be there, and they're apparently really good, so I'm going to take my friends words for it, and the colleges words.

Haha, really?
I think there's some all-black schools in Detroit itself, actually.
My school's benefits? You make your own schedule. That's it.
Forking over cash for an education is not fun but you know what? It's a fucking requirement for a middle-class lifestyle.

You can get better educated in a Mcdonalds than a Detroit public school.

Nothing really. We have 2 buildings and for people with schedules like mine, we have to walk between them every class. It's not that bad at first, but It's over an hour of walking between the schools.
my old school had plenty of fights we got away with (there were few) and the teachers were geniunely Nice, of course I lived in Minnesota so the Education system is one of the best in the country.
