Move over Master Chief, cause Sam Gideon is on his way to becoming the next fanboy respect/wank fountain of badass super soldiers.

Assuming IGN doesn't start it's "opinionated complaining once more", consisting of: Oh my god this game is so Nintendo Hard it's unplayable, "I" only got through the first level after like 20 minutes and the challenge is boring as hell. And if they don't start with: oooooh there's no online and a developed single player means nooothing in this day and age unless I can teabag with my butt buddies all day long, oh my goooosh nobody can ever be as cool as the Master Chief, oh no it's just Gears of War with some pretty liiiights.
All of the other numerous comparisons I could make... this time, it may actually get decent publicity for being more polished on a next-gen system than the at-the-time not very flattering PS2 engine.

Check out Vanquish coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, the demo was released just today and I've heard it's quite awesome. If you were lucky enough to ignore the IGN banter about the other Shinji Mikami title, God Hand, then you'll feel like you just stepped out of a cryotube and you're walking back home in the year 2010.

Pummel giant monsters with your fists, slide UP walls while firing into crowds of enemies, and experience one of the most shockingly volatile action games of this year's end since Bayonetta.

Weird. I don't know about you guys, but I just got/through the demo and I liked it. Can't wait for October.
