No, completely intentional. If I see a possum at night, I hit it and then inspect the corpse. Same applies for raccoons and squirrels.

Actually this one time I had hit a coon in this neighborhood with my old Civic. The thing was still flopping around so I reversed and went back over it... STILL alive. I was like Jesus this thing is ridiculous. So after not dying a THIRD time I pulled out my baseball and beat its skull in.

Call that "inhumane" if you want. But if you hit an animal in the street and leave it living and mutilated, then I would consider that more inhumane than anything....

It wouldn't be so infuriating if she wasnt so callous about it. It's her indifference to the suffering of the animals that makes it so horrifying.

I was a bit sarcastic there. It seems the general human mind conceives ugly animals or dumb animals something that's not worth caring about.

Also, animals that are killed for eating purposes are not filmed or laughed at, and they at least die for "some" reason, those puppies were killed without any purpouse.

I hate any kind of sadistic treatment to any animal, even the uglier/ dumber ones, and I wish there was some way of only producing and eating fruit and vegetables, but my carnivorous side doesn't really think about how the food on my plate as been treated when it was an animal. As long as it wasn't something cute or smart...

This is a good point. However, I do think if somebody filmed a puppy being killed, prepared and eaten in the same way as say, a pig, people would still be mortified by it.

For the record, I'm a mindful meat-eater. I care about where the meat i'm eating came from and how the animal was killed. Drowning, is not a painless way to die.

How come people think as long as something dies painlessly it's alright? I sent a creature into the abyss today so I could be slightly less hungry , but it's alright because it didn't hurt when it died.
