I've noticed there a lot more guitar orientated, the solo in all hope is gone is tasty.
I've started to like coreys other project, Stone Sour. What do you guys think of them?
After Slipknots All Hope Is Gone Tour im sad to say they probably wont be around much longer
seeing as coreys commited to stone sour and joey will be drumming for korns drummer who's
been on "hiatus" for like 50 years now.

Slipknot is awesome. The music video for their song, "psychosocial" is one of the best I've seen.

I agree. As is sulfur. Also, the good thing about Slipknot's new album is that they did a great job on it. A lot of bands haven't put out good albums this and last year.

That it is. The intro to the song almost makes it sound like a Lamb of god song. In my opinion. And hisuky, I'm pretty sure you can join, just talk about Slipknot related stuff.

agreed the first album was a masterpiece..iowa was also amazing but everthing after that kinda lost its edge. I would highly recommend getting the jap extended version of the first slipknot album,thats the best one

Not joining, but I will say that the Subliminal Verses and All Hope Is Gone are equivalent of System of a Down's Hypnotize and Mesmerize albums:

Aging 90s alternative metal band who want to appeal to a newer, younger audience releases new music that doesn't at all reflect the band they were 10 years ago.

The self-titled album by Slipknot was awesome though.

i think Iowa was the first album i ever bought when i was.. twelve or something.

Is liking Slipknot a requirement to join this club? Because while I don't really listen to their music, I do enjoy the way they move around a lot and incorporate flashing lights into their stage show. It keeps me entertained while I'm running the kissing booth for my local church at our local church fair/amusement park for charity. Also, I have found it difficult to make friends in real life. You try making friends with a penor so big that the fire department men at my local fire department have asked to use it to get cats out of local trees!
