i guess ill have to admit slipknot are not the best at their instruments but they are damn good, being the best grummer or guitarist doesnt matter as long as you can play well like jim or mick thwn your good. and it seems to me that nobody cares about the bassist in the bands which seems sad because a bassist makes the song, sure you could have a great guitarist and drummer but in a band like slipknot bass is crucial. i dontplay bass im a guitaristbut still we need more bassists in the world. but as my dad says

Its cause most bassists are content to merely overdub the guitar lines. Adding nothing compositionally to the song.

A slipknot is a certain type of knot (go figure) which slides when pulled at the loop, tightening said loop. It is used in many varied applications, but is most well-known as the type of knot used in hanging. Joy.

I've yet to actually Pauls bass playing in any of their songs, maybe its a little hard to hear with the 3 drums 2 guitars and fading vocals.
