1. Is 9.0 live worth getting? It's a live album and I'm not really sure about getting it.
Yes. Definatly. A couple of reasons why:
- 24 songs. on 2 cds, yet the price of a normal album (if I'm not mistaken).
- Slipknot is great live. Awesome record quality, and it makes you appriciate their previous records even more.
- The live album is pretty powerfull. You can feel the power Slipknot put in those songs live. If you have seen Slipknot live, it'll feel like you are standing there again... If you haven't, you should still buy it, seeying as every Slipknot fan should feel the energy and sound of Slipknot live.
2. I already have Subliminal Verses (I have Iowa and Slipknot albums as well), is it worth getting the special edition CD of Subliminal Verses?
If you're a hardcore maggot: Yes. Otherwise, I'd say no. it has 4 live songs, full version of Danger Keep Away, vermilion mix, scream and don't get close. It is a pretty awesome double disc, but probably not worth of buying vol 3 again.
scream and don't get close are awesome songs though.

Quite a task. Lots of fast riffing and such. And it's quite a few rough solos to boot. How's it coming along?

I'll be honest, it's not your best work thematically. But it was animated rather nicely.

Well if anyone bothers to visit this thread anymore, they'd tell you "yeah," but it seems like I'm the only one who bothers...so I guess you're in.
(This was a hint to everyone in the club here that THE CLUB IS DYING!)

I suggest that just everyone is free to join, and I don't feel like bothering to continue with the ranks anymore, seeing as pretty much no-one uses them. If anyone else want to continue them, feel free. You can use this list to build on.

To be honest, I thought the ranks were kinda silly to begin with, but hey, that's my opinion. Aside from that, how about just posting here every so often. Spin, you used to be all over this thread.

Yeah, well, I used to post alot of news in the past too.... seeing as Slipknot is on a break at the moment, there isn't much to post either. But I won't let this thread die, I can assure you that ;)

Hi , I like Slipknot.
They are a very unique band and for that deserve to be listening to.
I love the S/T album and Subliminal Verse but Iowa was really boring personally. They were just a couple of songs good on the first half of the CD and the second half was shit.
Otherwise , my favorite song are
Eyeless , Wait and Bleed , Left behind
and a lot from the first and last CD , they were almost all good , I like them equal.

I can't see how you dislike the second half of the Iowa, while liking some on the first half... But ok, that's your opinion.

Indeed. I think Iowa is their strongest album, hands down. It took some time to get to appreciate Vol. 3, but Iowa's my buddy.

Heretic Anthem, Everything Ends, The Nameless, Duality, Before I Forget, and Wait and Bleed, and Vermilion. Yeah they're all good. I really think the guys have a great thing going and should really focus on Slipknot, and not stupid side projects like Stone Sour and Ministry and that stupid $hit. Nothing that any of them are a part of in the future will be bigger or better than what they have now, so they should concentrate on making a new album or something.
But in 9.0They call #5 "133", but on roadrunners website they call him "Craig". Does anyone know why?

Wel. Craig is his name. Simple as that. Everyone in the band has a number... For craig, that's number 5.
Then, Craig also has his own nickname. Kinda like shawn gets called "Clown" on 9.0 if I'm not mistaken. Craig is also the kind of computer nerd inside Slipknot, so it might mean "Lee" in 1337...
Anyway, another thing with 133 is: 133 x 5 = 665
and ofcourse, 665 + 1 = 666

Obviously Craig is his name, somehow I figured that out... but thanks for the explanations about 133.

Could be. I'm sure it something to do with his computer geekness. Don't remember the exact details either.

Have you seen pics of him without the mask? If so, does he look like a nerd?

Not really. He has no glasses, and is bald. He mostly manages to hide his face though. Though this one picture I saw was pretty clear. I doubt I'll find it again though, was posted long time ago somewhere on Slipknot-metal.com forums.

Thats stupid, http://profile.myspa..amp;friendID=3646959
just look at this. A SlipKnot MySpace??????????? WTF, they shouldn't conform to the rest of the faggots. SlipKnot does belong on myspace with all the rest of the conformists pretending to make friends over the internet. Come on, there a damn band that wears masks and plays some the best modern metal.

I couldn't care about myspace. Just let them. I won't post in their guestbook or whatever though. Seeing as I have no myspace, and they won't even notice it.

Ditto. Aside from that, every band is going to have shithead fans. Probably lots of them. Douchebags around here like to point out some of the losers out there as indicative of all Slipknot fans, which is amusing. So really, who cares?

Sorry for not posting in a while...or making any flashes.
School and work are taking over my life. It sucks. But yeah, has anybody heard Vermillion, pt.2 (Bloodstone Mix) off of the Underworld: Evolution soundtrack?
I have a copy of that soundtrack, and I think it is a pretty cool mix. In the end of it, there is some heavy background music, but I don't know if it is Slipknot or not that did it.
Anywho, just throwing that out in the air.

Yeah, I never actua;;y heard it in a while, but from what I can remember I didn't think it was all that great.
