I remember reading something from Joey Jordison saying that even though they really didn't want to release a live album, they really liked the way 9.0 turned out. He also said something like it would be a good hold-over while the band works on a new album.

You and your L1F3 episodes. Heh... The Jesus bit made me laugh.
So any of you guys get that Roadrunner All-Stars album? I saw it at the record shop the other day, and I was wondering what it was all about. Looks like a good lineup, but I wonder if the music is good. Anybody?

Yeah I was looking into that CD too. I heard one song and it wasn't too bad, but I don't know. I would definately hear more songs from it before I buy.

I don't have the album, but I heard a few songs. Some were good, some I didn't liked at all.
It's just like you buy a compilation cd with 20 different bands. Some you will like, others you won't. Same thing here. Alot of different styles.

But it's the same guys on each track, isn't it? Or is it totally a mixed up lineup on each track?

LOL, he does.
They SHOULD make an action figure of him and the rest of Slipknot. That'd pwn.

Slipknot / Stone Sour NEWS:
Launch Radio Networks reports: STONE SOUR, the band featuring SLIPKNOT singer Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root, is writing and rehearsing new material at home in Iowa and will soon begin recording its second album. Root told Launch that the band will work at FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl's studio in Los Angeles beginning next month. "That's the plan," he said. "We're leaving January, like, 19th, we're gonna go out there a couple of days early. January 23rd is basically our start date, and we'll probably be out there for, I don't know, maybe three months. You know, no matter how much we work on these songs, who knows what'll happen once we get in the studio. I mean, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that everything is subject to change."
STONE SOUR's new album will follow up the group's 2002 self-titled debut, which went gold and featured the hit single, "Bother".
Root recently broke his wrist while riding a mountain bike and had to sit out the last leg of SLIPKNOT's "Subliminal Verses" tour.
Corey Taylor, SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison and SLIPKNOT bassist Paul Gray performed Thursday night (December 15) in New York City at the 25th anniversary party and concert for Roadrunner Records.
SLIPKNOT is nominated for a Grammy again this year in the category of Best Metal Performance.

*P.S. Could you guys recommend 'It's A Wonderful L1F3' to the Christmas 2005 collections! I would appreciate it.

Ministry? Ministry! I...LOVE Ministry! But what's their new album like? The last one I heard that was any good was Animositomina or whatever the fuck it's called. Filth Pig and Dark Side of the Spoon sucked serious ass. I dunno if there was anything else in between, but I doubt it's worth off-hand.

Just a note for the crew here...
Over the past several months that I've been here, we've seen a lot of bullshit being thrown at us. Between haters coming around and talking their (most often completely retarded) smack, or yahoos who just want to bug us, it's been tumultuous to say the least.
But it's really cool to login over here, and see 167 pages, and still rolling. Rock. I do think a lot of our friends here have been MIA recently, but I hope that will pass as well.
Anyway, just a random thought. Stay [sic] maggots!

Yes, I'm quite proud to see this club got this big. We're the second biggest Band Club on NG, and we even managed to pull this of with the trend-hating of Slipknot on NG.
Because that's what it mostly is. It's cool to hate Slipknot on NG. Just like it is to make unfunny jokes about bedn, posting the same owl and failed pictures over and over again, and many other lame retarded trends ...
I don't say everone hates Slipknot because of the trend hating, but I'm sure that something like 1 or 2 out of 5 haters does.
If it wasn't for this club, I would have left NG long ago. But this club is like "my E-home and E-family", and I will not let this die.
And while on subject of MINISTRY, joey is expected to tour with them as it seems.

I'd like to know what you think "selling out" means, exactly.
The reason I said this, was because the lose of the old image and the selling their new "in my up most opinion" crappy image. It's whatever though I'm not going to talk bad about em, I'm just not happy with the new shit.
:I really like Marilyn Manson, and most of their more visible fans are embarassing. It has nothing to do whatsoever with their music.
Agreed agreed.. I said this not saying that because of them the band sucks.. because of them.. Well I'm mad because I hate em peoples..
you say you still love the self-titled and Iowa albums. Well in that case, I think by saying that you don't like them anymore is untrue.
If I said didn't like em anymore I didn't mean it, I meant to mean that I don't like where they have gone. I <3 them.. and i have for a long time and will continue to.
I'm still [sic], through and through.
Forever and always!
Ill most likely be coming by here somtime soon..
I wish you all good lives and such..

Hey all, and Happy Very Belated New Year's!
I've been on vacation for the past few weeks, but I'll be back around from this Sunday. Just wanted to say hey. I got me some Guitar Hero for Xmas and it fucking rules. Do yourselves a flavor and get that game. You won't be sorry. Now I wonder if I can lobby Red Octane into putting Slipknot on the next game...?
Later mags!
