Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Wow! Entirely shit buzz. You sure it was mistaken identity?
If I do go along to this (and it is a big IF), are any of you guys into fishing? I was thinking I might have a couple of days fishing the River Shannon or nearby waters if I go. If there's any interest in that, I might book a guest house or something.
I'll probably drive to Holyhead and take the car over on the ferry if I go, so regardless of whether I take fishing equipment, there might be room for a few passengers.

Man from Dublin to Shannon is a good ol drive, The Irish western rail corridor is in shit so any one wanting to get a train has to go through Dublin. .

Uh... train? I said car.
I've been there before when I was a lot younger, didn't take too long to get there. There'll be closer places to fish in and around Dublin, so I don't see it being a problem, I just figured that the further out from the city, the cheaper the accommodation, food and drink will be.
Yeah i'm most likely going to be coming to this one too, unless i have some dire event i have to go to otherwise.
Im in Ireland next week, so I won't be able to make this one. The meets get more and more frequent!

Sorry I ment if anyone wanted to go to Shannon, your not driving a Coach I hope hehe:). I'll give you an example of what I ment, if I lived in Cork city and wanted to go to Shannon by train I'd have to go to Dublin and then out to Shannon either that or take a bus.

I suppose your right there, I wouldn't know to much about Shannon might be a tourist trap but I say I'm wrong.

The river flows more than just through its place name - it goes through several counties.

If enough people wanted to do it, I'd hire a mini bus and drive that. I hope that won't be necessary though, one car should suffice.
Aaanyway, even if the Shannon is too far away from Dublin, there's at least two canals I know of that flow from it and run through or near to Dublin and there's got to be a bunch of lakes (man made or natural) not too far away.
hmm..so its definitly in the south ill see if i can go down. Heres hoping i can get a cheap drink

I haven't been fishing since I was maybe 10 or 11, but it's awesome. I'd love to join in with some fishing if it happens, sign me up! We have a river going through our town that has quite a few Minnows (or it did in 2002) and we used to try and catch them. It was fun, even if we can't very little and always ended up with either soaking wet feet or covered in maggots. Oh the hijinks of preteens! Anyway I digress, I'm down for that if I'm allowed to tag along :-D
i might go, maybe. i'll figure out how to get to birmingham to ireland tomorrow, shouldn't be too hard.
hi

You can either travel up to opposite ireland and get a ferry, or get a plane straight to dublin from birmingham for £60. I'm doing the latter, wanna share a flight? :D Flying is a lot cheaper though, the ferry and flight costs are the same...
warning in advance, never been on a plane before, might cry.
November, ehh? I might be in Uni, but I could head up anyway.
We will see!
Tom has gotta get involved..COME ON TOM!!

Dude, I'm seriously not going to be fucking around trying to find minnows if I go fishing. There aren't huge fish to be found in the fresh waters around the UK and Ireland, but there are certainly fish in the waters that make minnows look like featherweights.

You are. And the good thing about it - you don't have to talk whilst you're doing it. Should suit you to the ground! :-D
If anyone does want to try it, I'll bring along a few spare rods and reels. That's IF I end up going.
