Every man/woman for themselves. It was just an exception this past summer.

Oh fuck. Although I think I recall you mentioning this a little.
I think it might be an idea to work out who wants to go and see if we can book rooms in the same hotel in the same floor with the rooms as close to each other as possible. Simplifies things without Luis having to fork cash out. Although this depends heavily on if people will be willing to pay for their place and who would have responsibility for each room.
This too will pass.

1. I love the idea of going to the Chill Factore and I'm for it.
2. I know I live only an hour away from Manchester but if anyone plans to rest at a Travelodge or a Premier Inn, please let me know. For the sake of convenience, it would be good if I was staying at the same place (not room, lol) as a few of you. It would help if I had a room at one of these places for a few nights rather than going back home and fourth.

let me know where you all end up going. maybe ill just book where you all are at also.

I'll actually be working on the 14th but I'm sure nothing will be happening until the evening anyway so I shouldn't be missing out on a lot. I just need to work out when I can get there but I may not arrive until 8PM. It just depends on my work hours which I'll find out tomorrow.
I'm definitly going to come if I dont go back to uni the weekend before. I'm also trying my hardest to get Williwowza to come, he loves me after our own meet-up yesterday so I think it shouldnt be too hard getting him to come.
Release your inner crazy.

Let me rephrase, I'm already here. But I will continue to be here for the meet, but I dont think I'll do the chill factor because it's abit far out for me and it's not that amazing :P
If you guys need ideas for something to do in town in the evening let me know!! This is my city and there's always clubs and bars with something going on every night for those of you who are over 18

if he doesn't come i'm blaming you

Sounds Like a plan, will do the same closer to the date, shouldn't be too booked up at the weekend. I will probs share a room with Chazz but not sure if we can book a twin room and have a third person camp like before? Will make things more affordable.
Doing the snow thing looks like a good idea.

you can do it as long as you dont get caught. just check in on your own and youll be fine.

Oh well, there's always the next London meet up. Yeah, I'm thinking that far ahead, haha. As for Manchester, it's still good for me but I'm hoping some details will be announced soon. I know the Ireland meet up is only a few weeks away and the events are still to be confirmed but I like to plan ahead for this.
Where I'm going to book a room at a Travelodge depends where the events are held at. Unless most of you go with Premier Inn, it's out of the question for me due to being more expensive. Myself and Jawdyn have had a look at the prices for both places and most of what Premier Inn have to offer are over £100 for Friday and Saturday night together. I was expecting around £88 considering the £29 for weekday and £59 for Saturday/Sunday prices I've seen but that doesn't seem to be the case. D: With hotel expenses, food and drinks and possibly going to Chill Factore, a lot of money will be going out of my wallet for this meet up so I'd rather go with Travelodge this time.
Everything else is still fine for me. I should have a provisional license in a few weeks time so I won't have to rely on my expired passport to prove my age like I did in London. As for travel expenses, I was thinking of booking my train tickets in advance but there's a slight chance I could be working overtime that day and could get me to miss my desired train as a result. It's best for me to get a return ticket at the station from the Wirral which will only be £13.

maybe if you're having a pint in a city centre pub I would show my face but I certainly wouldn't go dry slope skiing in Trafford
Let me know closer to the time what they actual plans for the day are, for 1 thing I dont have the money to go to the chill factor, but I'd be more than up for meeting you all at a pub/ club type of thing. There's some good events and bars open every day of the week in manchester
I assure you if we do go through with chill factor we won't be there all day. we'll deffo be in town for t'pub later.

I'm sure you can allow yourself a relapse :P
I'll definetly be down for the drinking aspect of the meet then, if you need any pointers on where to go then I'm your guy, don't want to blow my own trumpet here. Apparently the 14/15th is a friday and saturday so we've got the bounty of manchesters nightlife to pick from :)

hahah oh you joker
im gonna have to drop out of this one guys, Manchester is a long way from London, and seeing I live in London, it would be pointless travelling up there and it will turn out quite expensive, I will wait for another London meet when it comes. See everyone then. Have fun!
I can't believe I only just realized this was happening!
I'm less than an hour away from Manchester, so this rocks :D
I'll be there with bells on!
I might go home for the night and come back, about 1.45 hours or something with a train and bus and cheap so if I go home I should be able to have a second person coming over to sleep instead of paying for hotel, have to of course be a calm person as my mother won't be to fine with the house being destroyed. Oh and yes it is a spare room not my bed.
On second though might just get a hotel room, likely be to late to use public transport. I'll see. But my offer stands if I don't.
I'll be there. Since my waifu lives in Manchester, I might make the effort to see her, fuck her ass, and then go to the circlejerk.
I should know next week the exact times that I will be arriving and leaving manchester. I'm pretty sure the MegaBus timetable wont be any different than that from the week before the meet, so I'll basically be arriving in Manchester at around 10:30am on Friday and leaving just before 8pm on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on how long the actual meet is.
I've also been thinking that around the time of the meet we might be due some snow, if previous years are anything to go by, and since it's a pretty long bus journey for me I'm hoping the potential snow wont interfere. I'd be rather annoyed if the weather prevented me from being able to make it, especially if I'd booked all this.
As for accommodation, still nothing planned but I've looked around a few places. It's generally about £55 a night at either Premier Inn or Travel Lodge, but I'm not sure how far in advance you can book. Travel Lodge site said 28 days in advance, which is good I suppose, since it gives me time to find out whether I'll definitely be going. Should be though.
I'm really starting to look forward to this now.
