Of course.
But to answer your question, no, not when it becomes an addiction.
Weed is not addictive.
wow u stupid evryone knows you become extremely adicrted from marijanaw and it very bad cuz it give cancer and peple die frum it....... dont yu evr watch tat above influence commercial>??/? it showed a person melting IN COUCH!!!

LOL... In my opinion, people who are addicted to weed as in they smoke it a lot or chronically, are not physically addicted much like people with eating disorders, and I believe that eating disorders are FAR worse for your health and should be a bigger issue than marijuana. I think that the money spent on preventing marijuana should be spent trying to get fat people off their ass, like buying a public gym socialist style though the government wouldn't go for such an UN-capitalist thing but nonetheless, I know sometimes you will find lazy pot-heads locked to a couch, but at least they aren't there because they are morbidly obese and depressed right? So come on, alcohol is legal, however you will get fired if you go to work drunk right? So marijuana should at least be on par with alcohol laws considering the health effects are far less dire than that of alcoholism. In fact, marijuana as we can see has been successfully legal in other countries, and was even almost legalized in Canada until the United States government interfered, and not only that, 17% of Canadians smoke weed, over 50% of Americans have tried it, and if over 50% of Americans have tried it and 17% of Canadians are legit pot-heads... Can't we all just get a bong?

I'm not trying to bash on Marijuana here, not at all actually. I smoke fairly often when I have free time away from work and school.

However, I would like to say something about the whole addiction thing. Personally, I don't think any drug is actually addictive. It has to do with the will power of the user. Sure the FDA, doctors, whatever can say all they want that Tobacco is addictive because of Nicotine, Cannabis is mentally addictive, e.t.c.

I can tell you right now that I can quit both "drugs" right now if I wanted to. I've done it before and can do it again. But I have many friends who couldn't do that for the life of them. Two I can tell you right now have absolutely no power of their addiction gene. When one of them had to go on probation for Cannabis possession, he began smoking that incense shit. Same for the other kid when he got a job that drug tested.

I'm not trying to say that the "drugs" themselves don't play a part in addiction. I'm just saying that a majority of it lies in the user.

That's exactly right, there should be a system the same as alcohol laws for marijuana, or at least one similarly or even more lenient then the current alcohol laws, there are people who will abuse any substance (not referring to drugs). But the propagandist government will only recognize the misuse-rs as an attempt to keep the laws enforced. Na mean sucka?
