i'm in the apple store

as i am writing this i am currently, in the apple store. listening to one of there so called "genius" bad mouthing windows. and telling us how great macs are. i admit they are pretty good computers, but they don't really support many programs. and i'm on a mac book pro at the moment and it just seems a bit to expensive for what it is >:(

Pretty much this. The majority of Mac computers are a ridiculous price, and the OS itself is just a massive pile of eye candy with a spot of functionality added to it as an afterthought. I'm not a fan of Apple in the least.

If you want to create a Mac yourself, here's a step by step guide:

1) Take a 10 year old weak technology

2) Take everything unneeded (such as cooler, usb hubs, etc) out, we want it to be small

3) Put all you have into a shiny white box

4) Sell this for over $3000

5) ???

6) PROFIT

The thing is they're just so popular that everyone thinks they're great. but in reality you can get probably twice as many features on a PC computer for half the price of a Mac. As a matter of fact i don't think i know anyone who owns a Macbook or any kind of thing related to apple other than an iPod and iHome.
