man pulling

Ok so Im making this animation for my age division in summer camp. The basic idea of it is that a man pulls a red picnic bench to the center of the screen, waits for a second and then from the sky comes the words " LITS 2011" smashing down on the table and breaking it. Also After that I'd like to put in some audio.

Im basically stuck at the point where i have to move the table in, i made a pretty realistic one already but its in my library and I cant figure out how to get it out. Once its out I need to basically tween it to the speed that the man is pulling, any advice on how to do that? Please check the animation i have so far. thanks =)

Assuming you have flash, I believe you can just drag the movieClip symbol (or graphic symbol) from the library to the stage.
Make sure the layer you're on is neither locked nor invisible.

Hope that helped!

Good luck with your animation!

Make a new layer under the layer with the character to make his hand go over the bench so it looks like he is actually grabbing it.

Then just press ctrl+l to open the library and find your movieclip and drag it into the stage. Move it around to where you want which should be right under his hand. Then create a keyframe further down on the timeline and move it to where he ends up at in the end. Right click the normal frames and select motion tween.

This will tween the bench to where the ending position is. You might want to add some easing(which can be found in the properties window).

Also, your character is jumpy. You should try to keep his feet on a level path unless you meant for him to go up a slight hill as he did.
