Ive been practicing fbf all week and I really wanna do a little more before I submit my first flash vid to NG. What are some good sequences or cycles to practice with before I contribute to the site?

quite literally anything. What types of movies do you see yourself making? it all really depends on that. Something i do for practice is watch some live action footage and recreate the basic motions of it, so you can get a feel for what different actions look like when animated.

You should definitley get your walk cycles down.

Hand movements are a good one, too.

I basically understanding how fbf works and how to make it look smooth, though i struggle with walk cycles =/. I really just want to finally get my first submission in which will most likely be 50/50 with tweens and fbf.

A free running session is always fun. Make a bunch of obstacles for a character you made to overcome, really lets you stretch out a variety of movements.

i agree with narf109...make a free run thats really gives you practice in different basic movements..

Hit YouTube, too. Just type in 'walk cycles' and stuff and have a look at how the pro's do it. You don't have to do it exactly the same, but it might help.
