Overcoming Our Differences

I've been thinking a lot over the last few weeks about how divisive a subject like politics can be. As humans we have very different ideologies, priorities, beliefs, moralities, etc... And most of us are indignant and unwilling to accept other viewpoints as evidenced by the tone of most of the comments on the politics forum. However, if we as humans are to reach our full potential, I believe we must come together somehow and work together to accomplish great things.

I started thinking about possible solutions that would enable people to come together. Some means of surpassing the egos, the hate, the ignorance, the partisan loyalties, and the religions. I tried to imagine what single decisive factor could accomplish so much and change the world as we know it forever.

At first I thought I was just being stupid and naive. Of course people have thought about this before and to no avail. Even if they had a solution that would work for intelligent people, we don't REALLY have a solution at all unless the whole world's population is willing to accept it. And that is when it came to me. I actually made a YouTube video about this first because I am kind of eager to get the message of peace out to as many as possible as soon as possible. I'll let the video explain the idea for fear that casual readers will dismiss this thread for its length.

Don't bother on Newgrounds. Everyone is simply going to rebound you, well, I shouldn't say everyone, there are a few intellectuals here who will respond appropriately. But most won't. The lust of messing or derailing or simply being funny and getting a reputation is too much for most people.

Because I need to know if my solution will be accepted by everyone, not just the intelligent members of society. I figure, the most practical solution is not necessarily the most intelligent one for that very reason, so I wanted to test it here. But you are right, maybe it was a mistake...
