The following is a short animation of two legs making it half way across the screen, Please no comments about poor artwork, poor performance etc. i just wish for feedback on how to make these legs seem more organic.
Its understood they resize etc. i couldn't care less honestly, there a test and will be nothing like the final project, Thanks for the help!

The legs are bending back way too much and shouldn't lift off the ground like that. Look at how a real person walks for your best reference. You'll actually see very little bend to them, and lift off. The hips seem to be twisting too much as well. Using the hips too much for the forward motion of the legs instead of using the legs themselves. Looks like more of a strut then a walk. Walking is a very common thing to see so there's plenty of references out there to get the right positioning. I'd start there.
It's so smooth you can eat it up.
Keep practicing on movement and you're gonna be very good.
Yeah, just..What the last guy said....also try with stick legs. Gives you an idea.
Look
Tha walk cycle does have some character because its a bit off beat
