For bilingual users:
When you learn a new language, a second one, how do you apply it? Do you ever use the language you learned?

Also, how did you practice learning?

I take German, and I just practice in class. I suppose I will use it on German forums and such to communicate in German with other users.

It's only useful for family stuff since there aren't tons of people who speak polish in my area. Learned some from relatives and rosetta stone is amazing.
