3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsI never owned a GameCube, but since I got a Wii I might as well try some of the games I missed out on.
So I need some reccomendations.
I already have all of the Resident Evils and Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii.
Also, no Mario or Zelda games since they're too obvious.
I like mostly survival horror and platformers.

If you're not a retard and willing to look beyond survival horror and sidescroller games, you might note several really awesome GC games like Killer 7 and Spiderman 2. Hell, even the Matrix game on GC kicked ass
True story...
Beyond Good and Evil is a pretty good game, and so is Killer7 as was previously mentioned, Pikmin 1 & 2 are good, I prefer the 2nd game though.

No matter how high my score was, the female protagonists never took their clothes off. I feel cheated.

Somebody mention Star Fox Assault! It's multiplayer is addicting. Also, I know this is obvious and I don't think I saw anyone post this, but...... The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker. Sailing, story, sandbox like.
Also a fun party game is Kirby Airride. 1080 Avalanche, and maybe Waveracer.

Ok seriously, did ANYONE read my post?
Specifically the part where I said not to include Zelda, Resident Evil, Metroid or Mario?

Paper Mario: tTYD. I don't care if you said no mario games. This could be any fucking person. Just replace a few characters and it's the same game.
Soul Calibur 2
Custom Robo
It is ok to make fun of America. But if you make fun of any other country in a vague or joking way you get banned.
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2
Both are original for the Sega Dreamcast, but both games is for the GameCube as well.
This is the GOOD Sonic games out there.
you might as well check out Sonic Heroes, but it's far from the epicness of the Adventure series
F-Zero GX was one of the best racing games that I've ever played.
Soul Calibur II
Eternal Darkness
Super Smash Brothers Melee
Pikmin 1 and 2
Luigi's Mansion
Odama
Batallion Wars
Wario World

Most of what I would've recommended has already been mentioned, so lemme just throw one out of left field and say Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. Seriously, one of the most underrated games of last generation.
Pikmin. Both 1 and 2 are fantastic game.
LOTR: Return of the King was a pretty good hack and slash game with semi-RPG elements. Even for a movie game, it's awesome.

FINALLY. How the fuck could so many people leave out such a diamond from their lists? Eternal Darkness, despite me only owning one Nintendo console with three games (one of which is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem), is up there with one of my favourite games, if not my top favourite. It's well written, brilliantly executed and I'll be surprised if it bores you. I bought the Gamecube for £50, and the game for about £20 and I've yet to regret it.
Eternal Darkness is one of those games EVERYONE must own, I hold it so far up as being one of the pinnacles of gaming. So yeah, if you can, get it. I'll be very surprised if you end up disliking it.
This too will pass.
