So I have this girl I have been best friends with for a year. We talk about everything and are basically super close. But I have a girlfriend I have been going out with for 5 months. So Me and the girl that is my best friend hang out a lot. I haven't told my girlfriend this. I'm not cheating on my girlfriend and never would. But is it wrong to hang out with my best friend? I have known the girl that is my best friend for a lot longer than my girlfriend. Advice anyone?
It is not wrong at all. If your girlfriend has a problem with it, she's probably a jealous bitch anyway.

If your girlfriend can't realize that you and that girl are just friends then I would dump her. When someone is jealous in a relationship it makes both people miserable.

dude, to hell with girlfriends. just get friends with benefits. i've gone on three dates with three different girls this week, it beats trying to keep yourself from cheating by a long shot.
I used to have the same problem as you. Then I told my girl that there was nothing going on between my and my friend. Told her how it was and that's that. Everything's fine. Might not work for every girl though.

You are not wrong, she should trust you that you won't cheat on her, and trust your word that to are just friends, if she can't trust you then it's not worth keeping the girlfriend.

If she can't accept you are just friends and is paranoid about it, you should just dump her. And if mentioning your close female friend in conversation starts an apocalypse, definitely dump her. My ex wasn't exactly jealous, but she was paranoid. And it gets very annoying, because no matter how well you treat them, they always assume your talking to some other girl or trying to get with somebody else. Don't do that to yourself.
Think about the inverse- Would you expect her to stay with you if you told her she couldn't hang out with her best guy friend? Even after she repeatedly told you he was just a really close friend?
No, you are not wrong. She'll just have to understand that you 2 are friends.
I personally wouldn't like it if my friend's girlfriend doesn't like me because I hang out to much with him, because I am just a "threat" to her. If she has problems with that, she can talk to me and I can explain her things.
