Ermmm, okay...

All I'm trying to say is to lay off the highlights and porcelain looking shininess. The only thing that really bothers me about them is the highlight on the top and bottom of the eye, that kinda points to two light sources, which very well could be the case. Sorry if I'm being overly critical and coming off as an asshole, I'm not trying to.

That's pretty cool looking, I like it! If you ever make a whole tiger pencil drawing or something, try not outlining the glare on the eyes. Just a suggestion.

I was watching Arvalis stream all day and he suggested some of us watchers make up some designs for some whore belly dancer people. I was gonna make a character sheet, but I got frustrated and made this instead.
I was running out of time... can probably do 10 times better...
Lets say she is a small spanish lady. That should account for the proportions.

I'm really enjoying the soft coloring of the skin. And the hair is kind of cool.
mind building a mini-tutorial on how you did the hair?

Her right side from the shoulder to to her rib cage needs a little work, the part of her arm pushed is folded so awkwardly, this is the thing that is bothering me the most about the thing, looking pretty good otherwise.

Wippage. I'm only using three colors, but I reserve the right to blend those colors together. Might try cel shading with another set, but I'm not really up for that kind of thing.

Pretty cool stuff, very clean. If you don't mind me giving some advice, I'd suggest thinking about the skeletal frame of your figures more. A lot of stuff in your work is really strong, but the frame work seems lacking in a few. If you want to, draw some skeletons, learn where on the human figure that bone is visible. Elbows, clavicles, shoulder blades, hips, pelvis, ribs. I think you'll see a huge improvement in your work when you better illlustrate these points. Really good stuff, looks like you're drawing and enjoying it which is most important. Keep it up.

Something traditional for school.
God damn pencil version (which, imo, was better) got messed up in my backpack. I need to remember not to put pencil drawings in the same pocket as my erasers...
Also, I had to edit Romeo's 5 o'clock shadow. Yeah.... crosshatching gone awry. I need to learn to shade the face better.
Also, I need grayscale pens. All of my characters CANNOT have black hair >:(

I swear all of my scans look cleaner irl. This scanner isn't helping my image D:

Oh geez, I forgot to shade the hand (which also looks like crap). There needs to be an undo button irl. Also, I need HB pencils. Pens make me nervous.

I drew these eyes in like February. Yeah, I used to be able to draw eyes well. I could've sworn I had already posted them, but they weren't even scanned. SO, here they are now.
Damned lined paper.
I drew the digital eye just now. Maybe I still got it O_o.
They are numbered too.

Just so happened I ended on 19. SHABANG!!!

Ok Kashi, I'm loving your art but, one thing really bugs me. I'm gonna put this bluntly, so here it goes.

Stop blurring the shit out of your shading. You wanna blend it, not full on airbrush that stuff. Find a middle ground that doesn't look too plastic to be real. Even if it's anime style, they don't do it like that; this is especially so in your belly dancer piece. But yeah that was really the main flaw i see, maybe try not to simplify hands and toes and stuff, as the club foot-esque thing doesn't look very attractive, sorry bro.

A-yup.

As for what Dan said, I agree. I frequently look at your art and think it looks too much like it was done in photoshop- even if you are working in photoshop, you really want your work to look as natural as possible. Digital art has a bad reputation for looking too static and unnatural, but it certainly doesn't have to be either.
You are getting a lot better, and I truly envy all the criticism you've been getting here.

Nah, I was just messing around. And I understand what you guys mean. I f you hadn't noticed, I've been messing with textures, but I'm not fond of them and so I prefer not to use them. Personally, I kind of like my clean, shiny coloring, but I guess thats my personal preference. Although I must say, the persian woman isn't a good example seeing as that was a rushed job :/
I still get what you mean, though, and I'll take note of it.

Hehe, I am very grateful for it too :)
