Some users could use a bullet...
you know... accidental discharge or something...
oh so sweet it would be

A bullet fired into the air lands on them.
The unlikeliness makes it epik.

Actuall the tl;dr should be These kids' parents should lose their right to parent and be sterilized permanently.
Cause my dad has his own guns(I believe its a shotgun and a rifle, don't know the maker or specific gun), and he taught men to don't do anything with the gun I don't know does what unless he tells me and gives me the ok to do it and don't point it at anyone.

I believe that kids need to be taught that guns are no-no's. Only to use in self-defense -- anything in a movie or video game using a gun is for entertainment purposes only.
Like Superman flying. It can't happen. DON'T DO IT.

You honestly dont learn shit from call of duty.
Usually on most weapons, they pull out the clip, put a new one in and friggin...pound the left side of the gun to cock it. You'd break the gun if you were to do that.
Evidently in real life, once you die, you dont respawn.

Perhaps you should sign up for Top Shot, just a suggestion.
As for the argument, I get what the OP is saying. Kids today with their 50 cent rap videos and their Call of Dutys think that guns are like iPods and candy, and seem to be unaware of the dangers of a fully loaded Colt 1911 or any other gun for that matter.
And for the dumbass parents who let their kids play with firearms and not mention the dangers and the consequences of firearms, if something bad happens, YOU DON'T SUE SMITH AND WESSON!!!
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I remember when I shot my first gun. Some sort of generic pump shotgun, and it knocked me flat on my ass and with a sore shoulder. Scared me shitless but it taught me how powerful weapons were and from that point on I was always super fucking careful. Now I go shooting with my cousin as much as possible. Last one I shot was a M1014 variant. Fucking love the ghost ring sight.

Guns fuck up situations no matter what. The were meant to destroy, and that is exactly what they do.

You're saying that like destruction is a bad thing, in all cases.

I'm 13. I live in Finland, where we used to have good gun laws, you can't carry, can't own full auto guns, but you can own any semi-auto and such guns. Then that one kid shot up his school and here we go, gun licenses are almost impossible to get, they are thinking about outlawing semi-autos for whatever reason, you have to keep all your guns at a shooting range, but you can come take them anytime, so it just defeats the purpose. The only people this is preventing to own and use guns is the hunters and sports shooters.
Wait, this thread was about safety. Because of the gun laws, my shooting range only has high-powered sport pellet guns, but the place is free for anyone to come, borrow a gun and shoot. When I go there, I have to come with my mom, but there's a bunch of fourth-grade kids who come there by themselves and act like jerks with the guns. They cock the gun and leave the chamber open, so when they pull the trigger, all the gas explodes from behind the chamber, they shoot at the wall around the targets, they dry fire them, which will break the guns and they play with the triggers. When they go to the storage room to put the guns down, they put the guns over their shoulder like a marching fucking soldier and leave the chambers closed.
There was even this mom of a little girl too weak to load the gun by herself, and when the mom took the gun to the store room, she had the chamber closed and HAD THE BARREL POINTING FORWARD.
Me? I always open the chamber and put the gun down barrel downrange when I take a break, I hold the gun with one hand with the barrel pointing upwards when I take them to and from the store room, I always use the guns calmly and never rest my finger on the trigger when I'm not shooting. Worst thing I've done was I forgot the chamber open when I was shooting moving targets with a scope, so I couldn't see the chamber open when looking through the scope. These are the same guns you'd see used in the olympics, very ergonomic grips, expensive sights and very high power. They could shoot a regular flat-tip pellet through 10 mm of plywood easily.

Fuckin weapons safety is the most important part about handling a firearm. If these pubescent teens can't get it through their heads, then they shouldn't be allowed to shoot at all. Personally, I'd just find a way to keep the from shooting, because if they can't grasp the idea that if they fuck around on the range and that someone could get seriously injured or killed. Then they don't deserve to shoot. Owning a gun and being allowed to use one, requires maturity and responsibility.
Honestly, keep the ones who like to dick around from shooting. There's no need for them to fire a single bullet if they can't control themselves.

I'm 28 years old and I have yet to touch a real gun. Frankly, I don't even like seeing them in real life, regardless of whether a cop is carrying them or if they're being held by security officers (wasn't too long ago that security officers at stadiums were carrying M4s in the wake of 9/11, and that was a pretty unsightly thing to see). As for video games like Call of Duty, there's a good reason why the ESRB slaps M 17+ ratings on these games, but parents don't give a damn about it and that's the problem. At young ages, kids have problems separating fantasy from reality. They think stupid things like the only difference between real guns and their water pistols is that real guns are louder.
And I agree, you should have to pass a pretty tough gun safety exam to be able to own or use a gun to ensure only responsible and mature people are the only ones that ever get their hands on them. We have exams for driving a car, you'd think we'd have them for gun use as well.
Don't pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.

I play CoD and such. But whenever I picked up my dad's .38 Revolver for the first time in the gun range I knew it was not a toy. I've been to gun safety classes and such. A gun is a weapon and should be treated as one. With utmost care and safety. I got a Ruger SR9 from my dad. I go to the range and shoot it every once in awhile. Everytime I finish I make sure I do a safety check and pack up. Kids these days are just ignorant but honestly I think it has alot to do with the parents too.
