Yes, imagine running into a good black or any other race, with your hate. How differently you'd treat him or her.
Anytime that you're generalizing about a specific group of people in a negative way, and the sole unifying quality of those people in that group is their race, then that is racism in my mind.

You could make the decision to hate every black person you've ever met. But think of how many black people are out in the world: the differences between them all; the VASTNESS of our global diversity taken into account and all of that...could you even be racist at that point?
Racism is where no matter where they're from, who they are...just because they're black, you hate them. At least that is one facet of it (racism, like anything else in life, can be complex). I would only say that you simply haven't met the right person: I've had the pleasure of knowing quite a few black folks, who were more upstanding and of higher virtue than most whites I live nearby. Living near Detroit is a mixed blessing, but that's an advantage to it.
Don't be quick to place a judgment if you haven't heard the whole story. If after 40 years you've never found a black person you like, then...you can either be a racist and be ignorant to the rest of the blacks that you've never met...or you can continue to search for the one.
Be easy. Love is for all. We let too much shit get in the way of that.

it depends on a few things,for one: there is a difference between racist and prejudiced, racist means you think you are better than them because you're white. Prejudice means that you have a problem with them because they are black.
For instance: my friend Nick was gunned down by some black guys, I am not racist in the sense that I think that I am better than anybody else, because I'm not; I just don't trust black people.

What kind of logic is that?It all depends on the mindset.If they have the "asshole" mindset, it could be due to their cultural background, their parents or their own personality...but I honestly can't see how skin color has anything to do with that.

No black person I've met has been a friend of mine, nor have any of them done anything nice to me. Two black people I've met have tried fighting me or have fought me. That's not to say I'm racist though. I have absolutely no problem with people who have a different skin color, we're all people. White guys do things black guys do, same goes for first nations people, etc. Some races might give themselves a bad name, but every race has something about them to frown upon. We're all people and we all do stupid shit sometimes. Everyone's the same at the end of the day.
